ESPN Videogames have just posted the full Madden NFL 11 player ratings for the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots.
Quote:
"As you'll see, the dominance of Randy Moss' video game character looks to continue with "Madden NFL 11". I can't think of another pair of polygonal hands that has caught as many passes throughout the years in "Madden" as Moss. This year he checks in with 99 jumping, 99 spectacular catch, and, of course, 95 swagger as "The Freak" has never been shy about celebrating a touchdown."
still dont understand that even after the stretched ratings how tom brady has a thp over 90. His arm strenght has never been elite level. give him high Deep accuracy maybe, but 94 thp cmon. I guess its better than last years ridiculous 97
The Bills' QB's are rated 70, 70, 65, and 63. Lee Evans is our top WR at 84. Roscoe Parrish is 2nd at 64.
UGH. Gonna be a long year, fellas.
we will be fine stop looking at the overall ratings check out some of the individual stuff...for Example Levi Brown who I will be starting 87 throwing power 83 short 81 medium 64 deep. Also Lee Evans 96 Speed 87 catch nice combo Spiller 95 speed 97 acc 91 spin 97 juke look at the speed of our secondary we can sneak up on teams can't wait I got to level 30 with the Bills last year online. People underestimated our boys and quit once they got down 14-0 21-0 hahahaha Go Bills!!! (actually our O line overall is better than last year)

I'm doing a three season franchise project and although this is NOT very promising IRL, it's an ideal squad to play with / rebuild into a Madden contender...
Actually the rating that jumped out at me as really low belongs to Lindell...
any idea what the next division is starting tommorrow useally they tell us or give a date for the rest of the teams like last year but nothing i am ,looking forward to my kcchiefs player ratings to see how they stack up compared to last year plus the rest of the AFC West
i really hope the AFC West starts tomorrow
but my guess is in this order for the rest of the teams
Tommorrow and Thursday NFC East
Next Monday and Tuesday AFC North
Next Wednesday and Thursday NFC North
The Monday And Tuesday After AFC West
The Wednesday And Thursday after NFC West
The Last Week for Ratings Monday And Tuesday AFC South
Comfrimed as the last division for ratings Wednesday and Thursday NFC South
me thinks this is how it will work but hopfully they do the afc 1st and nfc 2nd but we shell see what tommorrow brings? thanks
EDIT Wow looks like i was wrong as i read the whole espn article it looks like the AFC West starts tommorrow with Denver and Oakland and then concludes thursday with San Diego and Kansas City! sweet cant wait good night!

He has a good arm. Look at 5:33 of the super bowl:
I agree, he does have a strong arm. Remember how many yards he threw in 07 (i think it was 07). It was beast. And as a guy who has seen him play in person, he definitely deserves a very high deep ball accuracy. The touch he puts on those long balls is AMAZING.

Throwing for a lot of yards does not equal arm strength. If you look at the zip on the ball when it comes out of brady's hands its not all that great. When I get the game im dropping him to 88. I guess they are accounting thrp for release as that is the only thing brady has elite related to arm strength. His zip is nothing compared to the true elite arms in the game. Even Favre has a stronger arm. at 94 he will probably be int he top 10 for arm strength and that just isnt true

I don't think Madden throw power even effects the zip. If it was all about zip, Michael Vick would have been easily a 99. It is about how far a quarterback can throw the ball, and brady has proven that he can launch it down field to moss if he needs to.
Meriweather was the SS and a McGowan was the FS last season. Unless they move Meriweather back to his original position I say they have it right.
I disagree. Meriweather played the deep middle a lot last year, while McGowan played Rodney Harrison's role: close to
the line of scrimmage, Nickel LB, covered TEs, helped in run support, etc.

he did play a lot of SS and was in the box quite a bit and they have him marked as so here:

No, I am positive that THP has to do with ball velocity. If you go and play a normal game you can easily tell the difference between a QB with high thp and one without. The difference is not as good as it should be but its apparent. Not that it doesn have to do with distance, but the real value of a strong arm is ball velocity. That is what keeps passes from being knocked down and picked off. It gives defenders much less time to react

Ah, then my bad
Brady still deserves at least a 90 throw power though.
Swagger makes no sense. Tom Brady has 96 swagger, is he going to be highstepping into the endzone?
"Tom Brady at 25, 20, 15...OH MY GOD...Tom Brady is...uh...moonwalking into the end zone?"
*Cue "Monster Mash" as Brady proceeds to "Thriller" with fellow "Swagger Mates" Randy Moss, Brandon Merriweather and Vince Wilfork*
Wait, was that constructive? Aw snap! I'm gone people...
Anyway, Brady looks to be a beast, Randy Moss is still the greatest, and Wes Welker will be running a ton of underneath and out routes this year. Deadly Three-Headed Monster the Patriots are this year
