Ok, we can get into specifics, such as the control scheme and such now that the embargo has been lifted.

If we can't answer something, obviously we won't.

So... what you do guys want to know?

Um. Is it possible to draw a foul now? Meaning can I fake a shot to get the defender to jump, and shoot into him to draw a foul?

Will Fatigue be a factor? Will I have to strategize if I wanna win cause in Live 10 I could play a full 12 minutes just chucking up 3's with paul pierce with no worry of him becoming tired.

Please tell me its possible to get injured in-game if a player just keeps running straight into defenders this time?? At least make them less effetive or something...because in live 10 I got tired of being happy that Lebron was hurt....for 3 seconds...then he comes back shooting 3's as if nothing was wrong.

1. Looking at the Control jumpshot pics with KD and LeBron, their sig looked the same, but it wasn't in Live 10 so I'm just assuming they didn't add it in for either player yet. But if you know, how many more signature jumpshot animations were added?

2. You said the post game wasn't as "authentic" as 2ks, but were there any post animations to differentiate players at all?

3. Probably not, but were you able to change the Pick and Roll defense? If so, did the computer actually register your changes? In Live 10 you can set whatever PnR defense you wanted and the defense would still lay back and defend the basket.

4. Was the animation transitions, namely for dunks, improved to get that "herky-jerky" feeling out?

5. In terms of 1-on-1 play, did it feel like you could make one simple move as the offensive player and create just enough space to get to the rim or get a good shot off? Does the defender realistically react on the moves the ball handler makes?

Has there been any improvment to on-line leagues?

1. Can you have a full roster?
2. Can you have a realistic schedule?
3. Can you sign FAs?
4. Do GM's have more control than last year like reseting games?

There were no plans to remove anything like that. With that said, they were not in when I played. Much of the game was stripped to get the tech. working properly.

I like it as is. They made a change sometime between our trip to yesterday that I didn't like. Shooting felt too easy. At the same time, there was no impact on the success of my shot because of the defense. That still needs to be put in.

Down to up, IMO, is more complicated than it needs to be. That just seems to me be an unnecessary addition.

Anyways,

Do the moves/controls also translate well if you play in a broadcast view ??

Or is the game only or best played on the north/south camera ??
I played with the broadcast cam and oddly enough I was able to translate the controls ok. It DID take time at first.

No. I didn't try to do it though. I really don't think that's in the game though.

all i have heard of is up on right stick = hook shot, and pushing away with the left stick + up on the right stick= fade away.

thanks
If I can sit down and do it, I will. It's pretty deep... you even forget some things as you play because there is a lot to do.

The community guys will absolutely love the shoulder fakes. It was added after we left and they felt great. You can shoulder fake, pause, go to that side of rim and finish and it looks very smooth and exact. All in your control.

Yes. This minimized over time, though (errors). You just have to get acclimated.

1. I didn't get an exact number. I have a feeling it will be a "if we can get it in, it will be there" thing.
2. No post differentiation as of right now. It still wasn't in, that's why I say it's not as "authentic." It's certainly accurate in terms of things you can do for a large part of it, but player specifics weren't there.
3. N/A
4. Still weren't ironed out yet. Things still felt herky-jerky in some areas.
5. Yes and yes. The blocking was over-powered, which is why you may see some players looking like they are jumping too high. It's supposed to get ironed out but wasn't in the build I played last night.

I think that's everything. I skipped over questions I couldn't address.

is the scoreboard bigger to see or is it still small? and can you zoom the camera because in live 10 i think that the broadcast cam was too far.

No. I asked for it but was shown that you can sort of do it yourself if you get good enough on the sticks.

I didn't like that decision at first, but it did grow on me a bit more last night. Once you really get some time with the controls, you can chain some really cool things...

N/A; Didn't really look for anything like this.

Do the face buttons have any new uses since the right stick is used for most of the actions that used to be on the face buttons?

# 28 shmitty @ 06/23/10 03:44 PM
Any thoughts on the Be A Pro mode?

# 29 renewill27 @ 06/23/10 04:11 PM
Are the graphics improved over last years game?

# 30 taxinem @ 06/23/10 06:05 PM

# 31 KChow21 @ 06/23/10 07:07 PM
League web support and more control over leagues? been asking for it since last year

# 32 Wiffyjustus @ 06/23/10 07:21 PM
Asking about passing, which for me was a real plus in live 10

wurmturd was already asked though.

# 33 swiftychampleone @ 06/23/10 08:23 PM
Can you switch back to the old controls and use the face button to shoot instead of the analogs?

# 34 funkysven @ 06/23/10 08:25 PM

I read from one of the previews that tip drunks are supposed to be in this year according to one of the devs.

One question I doubt you guys can answer as I reckon they will want to keep this secret, but ESPN Integration? Any mention of it or anything presentation wise? Intro's similar to Live 07 or 2k10?

# 37 Da-Man @ 06/23/10 10:10 PM
Are there sig. post moves?.. in other words does the post moves of Dwight Howard look similar to the post moves of Pau Gasol?

# 38 inkpimp007 @ 06/23/10 10:44 PM
Did the players feel like that had weight to them. In Live 10 the bigs couldn't take advantage of the weight deference and back your man down properly. please tell me this is addressed.

This might be small for some but it's long over due. In game save (by this i mean can i save at any point while playing a game to come back to later)?

Thanks

Can you choose between a regular crossover and a between-the-legs cross? I.E. can you manually perform a UTEP 2 Step?

How does it feel to play defense on the perimeter? Do you hold the left trigger to go into a defensive stance or is it automatic?

Do players still lose the ball easily when dribbling in the paint?

# 40 HoosierDaddy @ 06/23/10 11:14 PM
The players feel like they have weight, feels very natural.

You can choose which type of crossover you want to perform, to a degree.

There is no defensive position by holding trigger.
