On the topic of animations that trigger too often, I wonder if they put in the Brandon Stokeley tipped-pass catch--especially since Peter Moore made such a big deal of it during his interview with Gus Johnson..I can see it now....everytime you have a tipped pass...

But hopefully they have more than a one-handed grap/toe drag animation...like perhaps catching it properly, y'know with two hands...

Well bro for one DBs on all levels from Highschool to the NFL always going to get fake out by the WR sometime are loss sight of them. To me in this video it looks like the WR fake out the DB in this route to get open. It happens in real life. Plus knowing it this game was played on pro aswell. Once you get the game and play it on all pro and above. The AI will mirror image you WR route every play. You will get so sick of it that you will want to play it on pro afterwards lol.

I really admire your constant optimism. It keeps the mood light.

However, I have a couple questions. 1) How do you know it's on Pro? This is not a rhetorical question--I've not seen it in the videos..I know it's Pro by default but I'd think that at least the videos from guys on OS would be on All-Pro...

2) The AI will mirror image the WR route every play...we'll get sick of it. Is that a GOOD thing?

Great catch. Madden 11 looks nice.

But whatever happened to being able to choose what you want to Challenge?

Yes - I'm aware that in this particular instance it was pretty obvious what the coach was challenging - but until Madden NFL gives players a menu option to CHOOSE exactly what they want to challenge, you're gonna get guys like me who make frowny faces when it still isn't fixed.

When a play is challenged in the NFL, the refs examine the entire play no matter what is being challenged. That's what's going on in the game.

Really great animation. I thought the WR/CB Separation looked good. Man coverage was a beast at times last year, especially on Outs and Curls. Sometimes the CB just gets beat.

I see the football spinning nicely. Hope that it's correct for the PS3....

Meh....How many sideline catch animations will there be? Not hyped about anything with Madden 11 at this point.

Heh, kind of off topic, but what is the Saints DB doing there? Looks like after Gonzo catches it he goes into the "interception" animation.

Great point! You're exactly right. Because right after they viewed the replay, he said I have to bring up the menu now, for me to challenge the play.
