According to Jaosming, over at NLSC, NBA Elite 11 will feature Be a Pro and EASBA.
Quote:
"To complement the new controls and camera perspective [NHL based North/South camera] NBA Elite is taking a few more pages from the NHL playbook by integrating the Be A Pro mode and the EASBA, a five-versus-five online league."
Yeah, I wish it went back to this. This just won't work for NBA IMHO. Everyone will be 99 rated players, unrealistic sizes etc.
Have you ever played NHL 09 or 10? You don't get to level up your guy after every game like My Player. You have a certain amount of cards to unlock that give you a set number of attribute points to use. So you have to pick what you want your player to be good at.

Right I have, but statistics light Height are not relevant in NHL. I am just worried that you can have a 7'0'' PG like NBA 2k10. It's good that you can only be skilled at a certain field of play, I hope they keep it for Elite.

Iam really looking forward to elite. I just love something about the live series that makes me trying it every year....but still there was soooo much I hated that I never kept it long
It might take a few years but once this mode becomes mostly cheese free (as I think it has the possibility of being this first go around), it will be so incredible.
These modes alone have me sold on Elite this year. For everyone who plays the NHL and Fifa series should know how awsome it is. I for one switched from 2k to live last year after 5 years of 2k, great decision on my part. The sky is the limit for EA basketball from here on out.
