I'd love to see Frazier go on Jim Rome's show or something...i dislike Rome, but his douchey attitude would sure make these interviews a hell of a lot more interesting.

Its funny that you said this. I was thinking the samething.

I felt they always ask the same questions every year, and never asked the questions that we the consumer want asked.

Maybe they are not allowed to who knows.

Are you kidding me, that does not look like any form of improvement. dang, i was banking on Madden being better this year.

did y'all notice at 1:55 of the video every colts defensive lineman was pancaked...and the gameflow coach was said "let's make a big push with our offensive line, and get our halfback into their secondary on this play"...now if that isn't scripted i don't know what is

Phil continues to slim down, eh? Power move, there.

Anyway, 2 things caught my eye that were positive:

1. The double auto replay from 2 diff angles of that Saints defensive deflection. Good defensive plays finally getting some love just like in the NCAA 11 demo.

2. Saints receiver on a catch continued to play through after rolling on the ground and getting up. He tried to fool the refs into believing he wasn't touched while on the ground by continuing to run afer he got up. Nice lil touch.

Otherwise, it pretty much reminds me of Madden 10 aside from those two things and the cam angle of the D while "huddled".

Nice interview and nice gameplay. It's like a drug. I want more and more. I can't wait for more gameplay footage.

Is it just me or is that a SICK one handed grab by Colston?

# 50 swaldo @ 06/16/10 09:20 PM
Good call seriousluboy83! At 1:55...

"Let's make a big push with our offensive line."

Then after the snap all 4 DL were pancaked at the exact same time! They all fell down in unison like a wall falling to the ground.

I pointed out this exact same thing in the first NCAA 11 video that was released, horrible!

And the morphing ball through the reciever and the new Nintendo 64 style kicking meter. Well, I think this is all I need to see LOL.

Haha he does look like that guy now that you mention it

I liked some of what I saw. I know some don't like it but I like the meter for kicks. There was the sick catch by Colston then there was the morphing int.

I laughed at that too. That whole little part sounded like he was trying to joke him on the sneak.

Wow, the commentary in the Colts vs. Saints vid is horrible.

"Pitch left.......Bethea drags him down for a loss......TO THA 17!!!!!!!

# 57 at23steelers @ 06/16/10 11:45 PM
I am hoping the lapses in between is where Chris says his lines.

Yeah its pretty bad man. If thats how the final version is, I would hope EA gets called out on it publicly cause its that bad. Im almost embarrassed for Gus Johnson, i mean that line specifically is even worse than tom hammond.

I am not sure if this helps, but:

me: People are becoming very skeptical at the announcing. is it the final build or is there still a lot to add. too much deadspace

Ian: not final

I was thinking the same thing. The idea behind it, the game planning, and letting the game basically "script" your plays and actually make decisions the way a coach (or me, for instance) would call plays is ingenious. It seems like a really great idea...but then they put the overlay with the sentences...I can bring up the playart...I know what the play is. Don't tell me it's a deep out...I can see that.

The best way to remedy that in my opinion, is to have the headset and writing for Rookie (and maybe Pro) difficulties...for All-Pro and All-Madden, take it off...just let it be what it's supposed to be...the coordinator calling in the plays. No overlays, no pausing the presentation content so that the coordinator can say "Hey, let's run the ball for a touchdown on this play!"...

It seemed so promising...
