It looks like Jonathan Toews is the cover athlete for NHL 11.

EDIT: Looks like EA took the page down, but OS has you covered.

UPDATE: Jonathan Toews scheduled for The Tonight Show w/ Jay Leno, tonight.

Now, I'm not mad about this because I'm a Flyers fan, it's just a little bogus that it's two Hawks in a row.

Why not, as stated before, a Ryan Miller or (homerism) Mike Richards..

I'm 50/50 on this. Two blackhawk players in a row.... bleck. Johnathan Toews... sweet.

Yea! Chi-Town represent! I love being a Blackhawks fan right about now... Two years in a row is pretty un-heard of.. Not counting the early 2K games.

I would even think Pronger would be nice if you don't provoke him. Like the saying goes you get treated the way you treat people. Kane said he has learned from his mistake. I would think most people who met him probable had a good experience, but I don't know that for sure.
You talk about how Hockey Players are the nicest of all athletes (and present it as fact, no less), and yet you bust on him for stereotyping?

Anyway, good for Toews. And, I'm naturally happy to see another Hawk on the cover.

In Sweden, yes. This is the North American pack art.

Wow, 2 Hawks players huh...

Sad day to be Blues fan, seems sketchy to have back to back same team players to be on the cover when the first one should be T-Boned at a red light by taxi cab driver.

At least EA did not "sell out" and put Crosby on the cover. The NHL has already sold out to Crosby by putting him in another Winter's Classic.

All because of a video game cover.
Yes that's correct...

It is all good, we agree to disagree. I am sure he will grow into a great man, but when people kiss your *** it is kinda hard to break that entitlement feeling. But I am done with this. I don't want to get this thread of track. I was wrong to say that about Kane. Any way the game looks real solid.
I'm a Hawks fan and even I agree that Kane is a jerk. He's an immature 21 year old and I don't think he's been sober since the Hawks won the cup. I still don't think he has learned his lesson from the cab incident seeing as he's still joking about it. However, he isn't paid to be a nice guy, he's paid to score goals. Jonathan Toews is Kane's polar opposite and is extremely mature. But Toews is not on the cover because he's a good person, he's on it because he had an unbelievable season. The days of athletes being looked up to as role models should be over.

i am also a long time flyers fan and its wrong the way the the conn smythe was given out this year. if you look, daniel briere was leading the whole playoffs with points. i think that if the flyers won the cup, mike richards would be on the cover and he would be the MVP.

I can understand why one would be a little salty with two back to back Blackhawks as cover boys for the only hockey game that matters. But with that being said, I personally think (and not just because I'm from the Chi) that more than Kaner did on 10, Toews deserves the nod for 11. He was a beast in the playoffs! 29 over all points...MVP and Stanley Cup Winner in one of the craziest hockey towns in the country?! Not to mention he basically wins every face-off he's involved in....(which is one of the newest improvements to this years game)...... says to me putting him on the cover makes perfect sense.

I doubt that, Chicago was just happy to actually win something .

When the Blues win the cup, watch and see how crazy a town can get for their hockey team...

im glad they put Toews with the black jersey, just realized today going through my games that it would have been the 4th year in a row the cover athlete was wearing a red jersey haha (Staal, Phaneuf, and Kane)

I beg to differ. Not being a huge hockey fan myself I can asure you 2 million plus at a parade for a non football, baseball or basketball team is unreal! Does the lou even have 2 million residents, let alone hockey fans. Just kidding bro. But seriously....I agree...Chicagoans are always eger to have a reason to party or celebrate a champion.....hell it had been 49 years for Hawks fans....longest drought in the NHL. Chicago fans go hard bro!

The Cubs fans can attest to the fact of how hard it is to be the team thats gone the longest without winning a championship. Now thats a party everybody would want to be at!

If this is true, I will be extremely upset. Two Blackhawks in a row is a joke. There is 29 other teams out there going back to back with the Blackhawks is upsetting. I'm a Flyers fan, I don't hate the Blackhawks. I would say Ryan Miller deserved this more then anybody a close second should of been Drew Doughty. I hope this isn't true.

# 57 Percyswan @ 06/15/10 08:52 PM
They should have used Crosby or Miller this year to cash in on the Olympics. Or better yet use Miller in the US and Crosby in Canada. For all the new improvements that are big parts of Toews game are also big parts of Crosbys: faceoffs and dekes. Miller because of his awesome play for USA and because they haven't had a goalie for a long time.

I love Pronger!
He may be an ******* on the ice, but i just can't hate him.
I wish the Blues had him.
I picked him up in Be a GM, he crushes anyone that tries taking the easy way into my zone.

If the Blues win a cup, i will drive the two hours to St. Louis to join in on that.

There hasn't been any confirmation from EA Sports so nothing is set in stone just yet. They could've just put that to celebrate the Hawks Stanley Cup win. I for one watched Leno, and there was a drunk Kane, a shy Seabrook, a toothless Keith and a uptight toews that were being made fun of by Jay...Interesting to see when EA officially comes out. If im wrong, please post a link showing box art or something...
