NCAA Football 11 Demo Confirms 2 Minute Quarters

The official NCAA Football 11 website has just confirmed 2 minute quarters for the demo.

	"Both the Xbox 360 and PS3 demos will be released on Monday, June 14th. The demo consists of four match ups with 2 minute quarters. The four match ups are: FSU vs. Florida, Oklahoma vs. Texas, Clemson vs. Mizzou, and Ohio State vs. Miami. By playing each of the 4 match ups, you will unlock those teams Pro Combat uniforms for use in the full retail version of the game. By sharing the demo with a friend, you will unlock 3 more uniforms: VT, LSU, & TCU. You can pick which uniform the teams are wearing before heading into the game, so even if you are playing at home as Ohio State, you can still select their Pro Combat uniforms. Make sure to check out the Video on Demand channel for new videos about NCAA Football 11!"

I really do not think we will get confirmation from EA. You could try their facebook page, but past demos have always been a full game. A half with two 2 minute quarters would be a real downer!

I had forgotten that the past few demos were full games. So hopefully this demo is no different.

Oh, yea. I DEFINITELY love the 8 team match ups. Although when I play the full game of NCAA football, I stick with FSU but I WILL checkout all the different match ups in the demo.

That's about what I expected. Not gonna complain because last year we only had a fraction of the teams to choose from, and the demo was a lot later. Can't wait to D/L it in a few more days!

If you pre-ordered Madden from Gamestop last year you got 5 min quarter demo to download.

Oh, yah. I wonder if they will do something similar to that, again. Ironically, my fourth go round on that GS demo the day it went live coincided with the YLOD on my PS3. Wanna talk about ANGER??!! Lol?

I'm fine with 2 minutes, we have 8 teams this in the demo so it is hard to complain.

You can also usually get it eariler in the day by searching for the game by name. I takes a few hours to show up on the main demo menu.

Lol, imagine downloading the demo for like, an hour and then you find out the quarters are 0 mins long.

On a serious not the XBL servers always update at 6 AM eastern (confirming Solidice's assessment of 2 AM PST) so there will be plenty of time to download this monster of a demo

im pretty sure yu can but wut i think will happen is if yu wear the pro combats yu cant mix and match those (it would look stupid) but everything else
