That's how it works with Facebook apps, you send someone a request so you can get whatever it is you're trying to get. I also have a second XBL account that I made back when Teambuilder had persona issues, if the other person is required to download the demo, I'll send it to my secondary. If none of that works than screw it, I don't need the PC uniforms that bad.

Per Pasta Padre: "Updating on the release information first provided by EA Sports the demo will now arrive on the PS3 the same day as it will for the 360. The demo will be available for both on Monday June 14th"

Now Neoparadigm, this has not been specifically confirmed by EA, but Pasta is definitely connected, so we will see!

Dude, I'm with you. I put in 50+ hours of work a week, I am connected to XBL but, don't play anyone online or have any XBL friends. Can someone PM me as well with their XBL friend name so I can get these uniforms. I too, promise not to bother you beyond sharing the demo. Thanks

It has been confirmed by EA - their FB page says:

"Both the Xbox 360 and PS3 demos will be released on Monday, June 14th..."

Someone here posted a link to the discussion board on the facebook page, it says all you need to do is share the demo once and you have all three uniforms. It says nothing about them having to download or play it. So just pick someone, "share" the demo with them, and bam, you unlocked them.

Wait, hold on. If I dont share the demo with friends, I cant use any of the other Pro Combat uniforms? Are you freaking kidding me? Thats BS! I pay $60 for the game. I better be able to use 3 freaking pro combat uniforms!

Yeah they said there will be a menu option called "share with a friend" or something like that. This is a lot easier than everyone is making it out to be.

For me it's not about being hard to do, but the precedent it sets. Of course all of us die hards on here will do it and it will probably be very successful for EA which means we can expect even more shananigans in the future

While i will be able to unlock the unis by playing and sharing the demo, im like other posters, why should i have to go through that to get unis that should be in the damm game anyway?
if you designed them and featured them to be in the game, then why are they attempting to make customers go farther to get something they intended for people to enjoy in the 1st place.
They will prolly be a DLC later as a entire pack and to me thats dumb as well.

Not a big deal at all... except for those very few that don't have internet connection. Like someone else said, it's much better than the pre-order deals with retailers to get the code.

I'm all for it if the extra revenue directly translates to a better game every cycle. These games don't make themselves. Extra revenue = extra designers, programmers, testers, etc.

all of you complaining sound dumb! Its obvious they dont make the money they used to.Realize that every since online dynastys and these deeper more realistic dynastys have came into these game...people have bought less titles...period. There are people who used to buy college football jus because they were bored of the prior madden. then when madden became more realistic and franchises had more longevity...they figured why buy it to hold me over anymore? and there are people who like basketball more who bought madden because 2k or live got boring after a while. now that those are deeper why buy madden? And with so many places selling used copies...they arent getting the money they once used to. so why not try to maximize your chance at getting money as a business! I much rather them ask us to do this and get those free then have to pay for them. And you complain about helping them out but what if 2 yrs later the series goes under due to a lack of funds...then you will complain much more!

I understand the whole "spread the word" marketing part of it, but honestly EA?
What ever happened to "If it's in the game, it's in the game". I don't believe they said "If it's in the game, it's an add-on in the game that you have to unlock by paying extra money or sharing the game with a friend"
I mean, sure, it's not that hard if you have an online account. But still, this and the used game activation code crap. Im just annoyed by these marketing tactics. EA just went too far with it
