I was looking more at the terrible player model in the Iguodala pic but I see what you're getting at sir.

Perceptive and maybe it's apart of the whole MJ includsion. That's something I thought about for a fleeting moment when it was just being speculated that MJ was going to be on the cover.

I wish I could have these 30 seconds back...

Sneaky putting a half second shot of MJ in there. As someone mentioned, most likely a CAP at this point.

Also I really hope they do adjust the red color properly. Been a problem forever almost.

I agree with the red on the bulls it has always been a bother to me to see those shinny colored red jerseys.

Not really fond of this marketing of MJ for 2K11, the clip was way too short and you really couldn't tell that they threw him in the commercial unless you paused it. Not feeling that at all and showing 2K10 footage was just plane tacky...way to go 2K you earned it. Show us something good next time

I am usually a critic of 2K's marketing, and while that was probably better suited for an internet teaser rather than a mainstream commercial (since it was probably too vague for a casual observer to get without knowing MJ was on-board), that was actually a clever little teaser.

Show old footage with "This is what the rest of the league is doing now..." and then flashing a super quick look at Jordan. It just had that whole "he's coming" vibe to it. I actually dug it. It makes for a nice set up for the first footage of 2K11 and Jordan..."And this is what HE is doing...." I can see it now.

They better not **** this up. The marketing group could have a field day with just flashing him in his jersey, just like the teaser graphic.

They can make this a very memorable ad campaign... and finally get over the running joke that people say is 2k's marketing.

@xtremedunkz Yes they do seem to all be color blind at 2K, they can't figure out the Lakers uni's ether and how long have they been making this game? I really don't even see the point of this video.

Signing Jordan to appear on any game platform is BIG news period. To launch the commerical during the Finals between two storied franchises, not to mention massive media markets these teams represent not only captures the hardcore bball fan but also the casual enthusiasts that sits down to only watch the Finals.Even if they only watch one game. The buzz on the game will be generated as well as the conversation on MJ being the cover guy for 2K11.So what they used 2k10 footage, 2yrs ago when these two teams played ,EA dropped a commerical highlighting Paul Pierce's play/movements. That generated enough of a buzz for folks to run out and get that version of live. If the same thing happens for 2k10,good. I'm positive that by the time the E3 show arrives, there will be more appearances of his AIRNESS &hopefully new gameplay features that address the issues of this year's version. Not** MessanjahMatt please continue to make those Mike moments. Def appreciated

I honestly wouldn't even notice MJ dunking there, if those screenshots weren't posted here.

I do think it was a waste of good money. A 10-second teaser with MJ's jersey or something like that would be 10 times stronger.

Bad 2K, bad!

# 38 Altimus @ 06/05/10 06:29 PM
I remember that KG teaser where the video starts with his shoes and goes upward. Something similar something should have been done here. Like flashes of the camera going upward and flashes of game play in between.
