MLB 2K10 Sims the 2010 Baseball Season

With the MLB regular season well underway and MLB 2K10’s Living Roster feature finally including all of this year's top rookies, we here at Operation Sports decided to run our annual season sim using 2K’s hard-ball sim.

So where did your favorite team finish, and how did your favorite player do in 2010 according to 2K? Read on to find out.

Hmmmm

A .500 season by the Jays is quite doable but I think they'll be at least 5-6 games over .500 at the end of the year.

this is why 2k baseball games are a joke....not a single team from the nl east with a winning record, and the giants winning 101....bedard with 17 wins, belliard leading the nl in hitting....wow

Do sliders impact seasonal stats?

And while the game has lots of flaws BigGeorge, the gameplay mechanics (hitting & pitching) are IMHO better than what The Show provides. Features and stat tracking in the show are tops, yes..as are the overall graphics an animation, but MLB 2k is a fun baseball game to play.

you're joking right? An A- sim grade? I believe you need to re-look at the season stats and how about you try simming year 2 where every team has over 200 stolen bases and pitchers walk 100+ ppl a year like its going out of style. This sim system is an absolute joke. Check out reliever's ERAs and you will probably find Mariano Rivera had an ERA over 5.

This franchise gets a D in the sim stats department, its a pathetic joke. And even worse, the patch did NOTHING to fix anything.

the pirates went 80-82. very interesting. i would have liked to see what some of their stats were. yet again, mlb 2k10 doesn't even live in the same area code as the show.

80 wins for the Pirates! Hey, I'll take it. LOL at the NL East. Could definitely see Cards vs. Rays in the series and the Reds possibly challenging the Cards for the division at this point.

Why do the Tigers always finish last in these sims? They have had a winning record except for 1 season since 06 yet they always suck in sims in 2K and The Show.
