From some of the videos it looks like we will hopefully have more weather variety in franchise mode and not sunny 15 out of 16 weeks.

I was thinking just how revolutionary is this actually is right? I know custom sounds have been in before, but I could never be arsed going to the trouble. In some ways it's a little thing, but at the same time it adds SO much to making the game like "SUNDAY".
A big part (99%) of me is really excited by all these stadium sounds and licensed tracks, but I was thinking just how much there'd have to be to cover every team. A teeny part of me is scared it'll be done half-arsed.

I don't want to be a Debbie Downer, but something is telling me we won't be getting team fight songs this year. Surely they would have mentioned those as well while they were at it?

You know I couldn't let that slide. Maybe they can have Donovan flip the "bird" at Andy Reid in his first return game. That would be pretty authentic! LOL!

All these songs are in. Confirmed by Game Informer. Zombie Nation is as well among other songs.

I love how they have their own running joke and making fun of their own game, like the half-time show they said drove them nuts, "The number of plays ran were similar.." Hahaha, I'm thinking, then WHY did you put this in the game in the first place? It's like they just threw something together.

But, it sounds like stadium specific sounds will actually work this year. Presentation looks a lot better, I'm looking forward to that.

900 QB comparisons... he did not specify the number of storylines.

Yeah, it would be in terms of money, but not necessarily in terms of time.

Johnson's delivery in the booth was outstanding, but it was when I watched Adrian Peterson break out on a 90 yarder against me that I really appreciated it. That was followed up by Skol Vikings after the touchdown, and I've been to the metrodome, so it was pretty cool.

And the reason Johnson puts so much into his audio efforts? In his own words, "It's for the kids!" :P

I just hopes Gus doesn't goes bananas if i score a 50 yard touchdown being down by 30 with 2 minutes left. It would ruin commentary.

nice addition tho.

Hoping that them making fun of the halftime show is a clue to good improvements to the extra point.

We'll see...

Yeah, I was thinking about pointing that out, but good to see that you think the same way.

Hopefully because they were making fun of it, they've done some great work to improve it. It would make no sense to make fun of a flaw or issue with something, without it being corrected.

Yeah, that's exactly how I feel.

Also, don't get me wrong, audio has been needing an overhaul for a while now, but I hope that they didn't put so much focus into that that they didn't give any focus on presentation from a visual standpoint (e.g.: better post play camera views and more post play action, no more "fade to black" cut scenes, etc.).

Did everyone notice the product placement of the doritos bag and nike shoes? I wonder how much money they made from that....This is the stuff that drives me crazy about Madden. In the end, it is about money and not putting out the best game they can...I know they have to make money to make the game, but on a video blog? Again, I understand that this is a business and EA needs to make money, it just struck me weird.

Anyway, hope it looks good come August.
Are you could wait until E3 when we get plenty of gameplay footage on youtube and stuff.

Hmm. Interesting. That came from here - http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/sports/m...eviews;title;4

500 lines?
you sure that wasn't referencing 09's commentary?

I can say for sure that many fans of "certain" teams will be pleased.

Won't mean a thing if they don't fix franchise, but it would be cool to hear Sweet Home Alabama at the Jags games and the crowd chanting DREWWWW after he gets a big run/score.

Hearing the DUVAL chant would be epic.
