Anthony DiFazio chimes in with a new Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 blog, featuring the true-aim and swing tuner.
Quote:
"True-Aim is a new gameplay option that can be turned on to take Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 11 to some of the most authentic golfing experience to date. When True-Aim is set to on, the way the game is played takes a more realistic approach to golf and eliminates the "zoom to aim" functionality.
When you begin a round using True-Aim the HUD will look similar to that of regular play, although you will notice that the information HUD in the lower right no longer show the swing percentage and hole distance but now only shows the carry distance for the current club selected. This is where "Swing Tuner" becomes an integral part of your game which I will touch on shortly."
Wow! Just Wow! I was going to hold off on this year's Tiger until the Move came out and saw how it worked with that but with this latest blog, I'm pre-ordering it tomorrow. This is the best news for the Tiger series in years. Just effin awesome.
I didn't read any of the blog. Just glad that I read that EA FINALLY improved the player models for this year. This will get some serious burn on my PS3 with the Move.
Nice feature but if the actual analog stick isnt much more sensitive then some of these attributes will be null and void.
I will tell you that I had a difficult time hitting the ball straight on the 360 version when I was at Tiburon for TW Community Day. However, that was back in February....and as far as I am concerned, TW10 using the DS3 controller is plenty sensitive...much more so than the 360 controller.
