Gran Turismo 5 Ships on October 27th?

According to Costco, Gran Turismo 5 will ship on October 27th. Take it for what it's worth.

That would be nice, my birthday is on Nov. 5 so I'd get a couple vacation days soon after it drops to play it!

While I've owned the first 3, it didn't behoove me to buy the last 2. I might get this one just for the visuals.

Did anyone read the details about the game on the costco website? It says 6 tracks with 12 total layouts and other then the 60 different manufacturers there is nothing noticeably different from Gran Turismo 5 prologue.

I can't wait for the game to come out but until I actually see it in a store I will never believe a release date made for this game.

That's pretty clearly incorrect. They just left the info from Prologue.
