  • Every player on a MLB roster is included
  • AAA lineups/rotations best as possible

Thanks to Knight for letting me join the cause and to Ksig for his excellent scouting and potential matches. I'm sure Knight will be around to provide input on V.2.

Yeah mine too. I played against him when he hit his first major league homer! Hahaha. We need to figure a way to be able to add MLB time to players like Edmonds.

If Ike Davis is such a stud
Wilson Ramos needs to be a stud muffin
I'm talking Jason Heyward type shizzy

This catcher will be the man...

I downloaded the the new live roster offline. I just want to put ONE player from that roster into the roster I was currently using. Seems simple enough, but there are players on that roster I want that are not in the new roster. So when I load one roster over the other both players I want don't reside on the same roster....any ideas??

you can't combine rosters.. you have to use one or the other

Hey guys, you think it would be well worth it to wait until v2 to start Franchise or just go with v1? I've been playing the hell out of RTTS with both a SP and a 1B and want to try my hand at conquering small countries with the Yankees.

I would wait for v2. Shouldn't be too much longer. I started a franchise with the Yankees using the March 8th Scea Rosters and am currently on June 2nd. I am seriously thinking of restarting my franchise with the Rockies once Knight's rosters drop.

Halfway done fellas.....and it's looking very nice.
I'll fall behind slightly the next two days(I've got work)...and we've got training-drill and an inspection....so I doubt I'll get much time in there.
I'll be home tomorrow night...and I'll update you guys on Wednesday on the progress.
I've added a ton of new players......and updated just about everyone on the teams I've completed. All the faces on those teams are done also.....as well as setting the level(AAA/AA/A) for the players.
Once I finish, I'll then set the lineups rotations(I don't do it as I go along in case I move a player)....

End of update

Couple of notes on the Mariners...

Released: Eric Brynes

Demoted: Matt Tuisiosopo (sp?) Triple A Tacoma
Demoted: Shawn Kelley Triple A Tacoma

Promoted: Josh Wilson
Promoted: Ryan Langerhans

Ian Snell is now in the Bullpen with Cliff Lee's Emergence.

Great work with these rosters.

I have put in a lot of work setting up MLB rosters based on Opening day, as well as current AAA, AA teams and prospects on my computer. I have every single player's photo (in color) plus corresponding jersey number, broken down by organizations. I don't bother updating the rosters weekly. Too many changes to put up with. And no trades. If players are injured in the course of the season, I bring up a AAA or AA replacement player (depending on who's hot). Ditto for a MLB player having a rough time. I send him down and bring up another player from the minors. Being able to control evey team is like the TV commercial...PRICELESS!
When Knight releases his V2 in the next week or two, I'll be using that for the whole season. By retaining the original MLB SCEA rosters, I've got each player with the proper cap on. It's just a personal choice. On the other hand, I realize that Knight and company have over 1500 fake players to edit, ensuring the proper skin color, height, weight, jersey number and other details, not the mention batting stances, pitching deliveries and the rest. And then setting up batting orders and pitching rotations for 90 teams! Huge huge work! Many many thanks to those who spend a lot of their free time, especially Knight, who delivers year in year out. He' got my vote for MVP (no reference to the computer game of the same name!). PLAY BALL soon!

Dont ask... read Knights last update, he says how far along he is. I would expect another 7-14 days or so.

Sounds like a plan. Thanks for the input. I'll plug away trying to get my 1B ready to switch to CF until then hehe.

MLB 10 the Show is the only game I have ever pre-ordered.

Played around with it for a bit then got online and found
you guys. What I already thought was going to be a great
baseball game got WAY more interesting. I've been following
this thread from the biginning and have posted once or twice.

The amount of work you are doing for this game is truly amazing
and I look forward to V.2.

Currently, while waiting for v.2, I started a season with a combo
of classic players and current players and having a blast.

One question. A few posts back you said you didn't touch the SCEA
players. What does that mean? Are your rosters the default SCEA
players with the addition of the full minors which are not included
with the game or do you also make changes to the SCEA default
players?

I normally only play Season mode not Franchise so your rosters
will also make Season mode deeper as well, correct?

I wish I had more time to play. Every day I'd play a Classic season
game, Curent season game and RTTS game for a bit.

Thanks to you and your team,

Bob

Welcome aboard and thanks.
When I say we don't mess with the SCEA players, I mean that we don't change the ratings for any player that SCEA created. We do create/edit all the fake players in the game into real minor league players. For those guys we do edit their appearance and ratings to match the real life player.
If you play only season and not franchise....you will get some of our players(anyone on the 40 man who hasn't played an MLB game yet...SCEA does not create any of those guys...just guys with MLB time)...so you aren't getting the entire effect of the Full Minors...but you are getting some.
Give franchise a try(just give control of the trite stuff to the CPU!)...and enjoy all the minor leaguers in their glory!

'Bout damn time they did something. This offense is unwatchable at this point. Not like Wilson or Langerhans are saviors but Byrnes and Tui were brutal to watch.
