NCAA Football 11 News Post

EA Sports has posted their first NCAA Football 11 video blog.

Most of it is information we've already known.
  • Formation subs (Can be saved from franchise, online franchise, etc.)
  • Autosave is back (can be disabled, if you want)
  • Autoload of rosters that you want

Let's hope video blog #2 has a lot more info, eh?

Thanks to CDJ at NCAA Strategies.

I'm sure they're nice guys, but wow, I'm amazed at how little confidence I have in them to churn out a quality product this year.

Unlike the madden guys, I cant really hate these guys. They seem nice and to be trying hard. Hopefully they listened to a lot of the feed back the community gave them and put that in the game.

So far we know nine things, they gave three of those in the first of three parts... 3x3=9... I hope I'm wrong but it looks like all three parts are gonna be about the nine things we already know about.

The more things change.... Like a previous poster stated, I have little confidence in these guys to get NCAA back on the right track. Last year was the first year in a long time I hadn't bought the game and nothing is drawing me in so far. I don't think they really intend to rebuild what's broken with the game or even to tweak some things.

please for the love of god ea put back the stadium atmosphere from ncaa 04-06. In 04 if u busted into the open field the crowd went crazy and in 05&06 i fell in love with the stadium pulse meter. The crowd was going nuts before every play and the camera would shake THATS WHAT COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS ALL ABOUT reward the player for making huge plays it is soooooo boring busting a big play and listening to a silent crowd with their hands on their knees, it would also be cool if the players on the field could c elebrate after big plays too. College football is all about the emotions and atmosphere ea. Im sure Im not the only one wanting this EA. Put this in the game Listen to us

I agree with everything you said except this ONLY because the NCAA doesn't allow the players to celebrate. We talk all the time about wanting to make this game as realistic as possible and in that mindset I don't want my wide receiver to run over and celebrate with the mascot after a TD.

Players can celebrate in real life. They're just supposed to not ingage the crowd or taunt other players. So granted the celebrations would be minor, but they are in real life as well. Messing around with the mascot isn't a good example of realism but there are some other things they could do.
