WOW, I really came away impressed, 2K baseball looks like it's back.

Damn, there goes $120 for both this year.

This has nothing to do with the audio (which was good), but Minute Maid Park looked AWESOME in that one clip.

Very impressive, playing a franchise year after year will feel fresh each time. This is something ALL sports games should implement, and it seems that 2k has become the innovator of this style of commentary.

Incredibly immersive broadcast style commentary. Top Notch. Heavenly Authentic.

Personally, I find the "1 for 4 lifetime against so-and-so." absolutely brilliant. Incredibly helpful. Adds to the realism especially in a playoff situation.

2k certainly went for the pitcher vs. batter duel effect this year. Batter career averages against specific pitchers capture the "moment" in a realistic, immersive manner. If a batter has a .416 average with 4 HR in 12 at-bats against a certain pitcher in a crucial situation, I might just have to intentionally walk the batter. It simply adds to the pitcher vs. batter duel.

Will stats accumulate for presentation purposes? For example, though Reyes might be "5-10 against Peavy" heading into this year, will they say, in 2015 of my franchise, "Reyes is 14-33 against Peavy" (or whatever) based on the stats during my 'chise?

This was in 2K9 and it was unbelievably flawed. I sincerely hope that they re-wrote the code (or whatever technical magic they use) so that the stats overlay and the audio reflect actual historical stats.

Guys, look closely at this video. There's signs of a huge, huge glitch.

Check out Jose Reyes vs. Jake Peavy.

How many pitches has Peavy thrown and what inning is it?

Not good.

((But otherwise, very impressive))

I actually think I jumped when that first flashed up. It was beautiful.

Could be a glitch but i highly doubt it, another pitcher had a high pitch count as well, i think those stats on the pitcher are place holders.

"Place holders?" What does that mean?

Yeah, don't know why this is.

Let's hope it's not this year's version of the franchise simming glitch.
