If its not one thing its another.
It was the "trailer"! Its gotta be flashy and I think they did a great job showing the comparison between real and game footage.
a+++++

I think this video on this page is more of what we were looking for.

I agree. Watching the trailer on my TV in HD on Game Trailers TV, i couldn't tell what was real and what wasn't. I don't know how the guys over at SCEA do it, but every year they seem to out do themselves. GREAT JOB!!!!

Can't wait for March 2nd

I thought the trailer was awesome. Gave me the baseball lovers goose bumps from all the exciting moments in baseball with the roars of the crowd.

We have got MORE than enough information on this game, between the CD guys and other game-play trailers, and Ramone nice enough to release pics. More than most games in general. People don't even know what questions to ask PSNation for the podcast, because of the wealth of information we have. That speaks volumes.

For ones to complain, they just need to climb back in the box. Because they have no merit for complaints. Seriously.

The trailer was awsome and I wouldnt mind if that is the game intro for this year.

Thats the kind a trailer you see right before the game starts that pumps you up.

From a consumer standpoint I feel like I saw 40% game and 60% real life footage. I watched it twice to make sure I wasn't wrong about that. I like that they mixed in real footage and all but that was an overkill.

Furthermore, we watched mostly replays in the game footage. Don't get me wrong I'll still buy the game based on what I've played from "The Show" in the past, but only that.

Just my opinion, I hope I haven't offended anyone, I've read a lot of posts here and I know that a lot of people defend the people behind the game tooth and nail.
Speaks the truth! Not very good at all. It had too much going on, still pumped none the less. Oh and no Pujols!!! How can you leave out the best player in the game?

Wow, that was good! It really pumped me up for the baseball season I love it

THIS.

My take on it:

I've watched several trailers or commercials on games and then after playing it I realized that all the footage I've seen was from either a cutsceen or a replay in a sportsgame.

Based on the trailer only, I saw very little gameplay. I appreciate you further seeking my opinion.

If you're already buying the game, they've done their job one way or another.

And I doubt marketing expects you to but the game based off one individual trailer. It's the reason why, you know, you've sort of been deluged with information from many different sources about the game.

You can't expect one individual trailer, snippet or review to sell a game.

And if that doesn't get you pumped for some baseball... I'd say you may not even be a fan of the sport.

But I'll stop defending the people "tooth and nail" now.

I loved the trailer. It got me excited for the game. In my opinion, that is what a trailer is supposed to do. Just like a movie trailer, it is supposed to build excitement. I think the official trailer accomplished what it was intended to accomplish and that was to build up excitement for the game.

Wouldn't mind a bit more gameplay in there but overall a great looking trailer. Whoever does their editing did a heck of job. Can't wait.

It's a game trailer......not a GAMEPLAY trailer...we get those too.
We get pics and gameplay vids separately.
I enjoyed it. Very nice job of editing.

That gave me goosebumps, but it was actually Howie Kendrick who jumped in the air, but since your a fellow Halos fan I'll let it slide lol

Even though I'm still obviously buying the game, I suppose I have to follow the herd and say it was perfect *shakes my head*
