Seems odd, I would think they would be putting the finishing touches to get it gold and stamped. Nothing can be changed game-play from a video now till launch. Thus the "check swing" patch.

Their NBA franchise can afford to not show anything. The game is proven.

Add the extra time for video capture, clearance from marketing... and you get the idea.

The guy from Game Informer said he had the "final code" last week, which makes sense since they said they were adding the check swing fix in with a patch instead of the retail game, which apparently has been gold for at least a week now.

No one will know that until they've played it. It looks improved, but we've thought that every year.
