EDIT: Unless I imagined it, I can't find that post by Chris anywhere. I'm probably not looking in the right threads.

wow, that is amazing!!! I don't know if I can wait a whole week for the demo, let alone a month for the game. Like said before, I don't understand how the game is so much better looking, and 09 was gorgeous. Its hard to imagine how 11 can improve graphically, but I have faith in SCEA

I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait any longer for March 2nd. Ehh..
I hope they fix the crowd reaction during the homerun review sequence. The crowd wasn't cheering when it was initially called a home run. Hope that's not a spoiler.

But wow, the new lighting makes the game look insanely good. Everything just looks so natural and so smooth.

It just lacks the "ooph," like most other pitching motions in the game. It's hard to explain, but pitching motions in real life are a lot more violent. The ones in The Show seem like the pitchers are throwing warm-up pitches and not throwing 100% It's something that doesn't really bother me, though. As long as the motion looks like the real life motion, I'm happy. And I'm happy with Verlander's.
As for everything else in the video...WOW!
It really does look like a whole new game! The added camera and lighting tweaks, along with graphics tweaks and the improved field damage, WOW.

I CANNOT wait to start my Cubbies Franchise, because the new lighting during the day makes everything look THAT good! The Cubs are known for the 'afternoon games' at Wrigley, so I am excited to see the transitions...yes!
I was really hoping they'd toned down those missile singles that reach the OFs way, way too quickly, but no luck I guess.

Looks great, I thought day games looked great last year but as many have said, this looks even better. Can any of the group that went to the studio comment on night games?
I'm not questioning the hit variety. I have always thought the base hits to the OFs reach them at what is an unrealistic velocity. In real life, a ball would have to be completey scorched to bounce just once, unless the OFs are playing in, but in the game it always seems the play that way. It almost looks like a walk-off base hit where the fielder is shallow.

Btw, some creative editing by GT in the first video - it doesn't fade to a replay unless that changed after the CPE. It's still the screen wipes that we're used to seeing that lead into replays. Didn't want anyone to get confused there.

Edit: Oops...misread. Yes, "pitch info" is new this year. Basically the same thing as swing analysis, but for the pitcher. There are also new filters in the main pitcher analysis screen (select button) that track how well your pitch release timing is.
