Not to be a negative nancy, but why is Luis Castillo's picture up on the jumbo tron when Jose Reyes is running to first?

# 5 nemesis04 @ 02/03/10 08:36 PM
Those two tone gloves are sick!

# 6 JermaineDye05 @ 02/03/10 08:37 PM
On the very positive side, they did get Beckham's glove right

I'm guessing the reason we see Castillo is because Reyes just hit a homerun or perhaps lined into an out or something. It's just odd, that's all.

Not sure if pic#9 is from the first or second batch, but the lighting on that jersey is unreal...or very real

I'm not a ***** or anything, but that first picture looked nothing like Beckham.

Oh well, I am just excited he is in the game.

The multi-colored cleats on the Diamondback player in pic 8 is just...

About those cleats and this is with all gear its really broken up this year and you can create some really sick combos. With shoes, gloves, bats, catcher gear etc....

I concur. Let's hope that they are still updating models which is why the picture is such. No biggie if they don't get him right this year but it sure would be nice.

To be honest, I'm too stoked to have Jake Peavy on the roster to worry about whether they get Beckham's face right. As long as they do him justice in the rating department.

The only thing I don't like is the massive Brickroom sign at the Jake...errr. Progressive Field. Rest is good though.

And the fact that they missed the scoreboards that were installed in 2005. How does SCEA get Arlington's LED boards and stadium changes, but whiffs on the Cincinnati and Cleveland?

They really did a GREAT job on that park. They even got the Executive Towers (the big white building in the distance) perfectly detailed. Both New York parks got alot of love this year.

Agreed, also the walls in Progressive still appear with that cartoony staled out green color instead of a solid green. I am frustrated with the lack of led scoreboards, but at least they got Arlington's in. It really makes the stadium seem outdated with those nasty yellow and black electric scoreboards (I may just sim my games when playing in either stadium). I know they've been working incredibly hard on this game, but the pic at fenway has the black tarp on a night game, and seemed to ignore our stadium feedback thread for example: they didn't include the white lettering for ads behind home plate, no retractable roofs and no Wrigley bleachers. I love the game, but stadiums are a big thing for me. I do love the equipment customization, as the game will feel new for each team I play with the individuality of each player. It's just frustrating... maybe hire some stadium guys? (cough cough rolie and pirate cough cough).
