Playstation.Blog has posted another MLB '10: The Show blog. This one covers Online Season Leagues.

You will get access to the full �Around the League� screens, including Playoff Brackets, Standings, Statistics, Team Rankings, League Leaders and Awards. Just to relay the amount of data available in Online Leagues, we are potentially talking about 30 teams, with 40 players, each with 70+ stats!"

Did you guys read the comments below the article? MIC icon has been added so now you'll know if your opponent is using the MIC. SWEET

I'm in heaven now. Stat tracking, kicking users out. This year is gonna be the nutz.

I could never understand all the lag complaints. I think if your ISP has 1.5mb/s then games run smooth as butter online. Too many people concern themselves what there DL speed is and that doesn't matter when it comes to online gaming.

so, with this online season.

can we have a season set up and apply the weekly roster update to it? i thought i read that somewhere, but didnt see it mentioned in the blog.

It is my understanding that it gets locked once the season starts. I think it would have to with injuries, trades etc.

You could use any of the updates to start...but once you started...that was the one.

I just hope this doesn't have the huge gitch with fantasy drafting in a league that last year's had. Last year in my league we drafted a bunch of people who happened to be FA's at the time and then those players just completely disappeared off of your roster.

thanks for clearing that up. i coulda swore i read somewhere that the show was having an online season where the current rosters updated could be used each week. oh well.. all good.

Not unless there is a setting somewhere for this to occur where you have all the other things turned off.

Lot of good info in there, hopefully online will be much better this year. I didn't read anything in there about the commish being able to reset a game, is that in? It is such a pain to have a league disconnected due to lag or a bad connection and not be able to replay the game, you just have to accept the outcome of the unfinished game. Please let there be a resolution to this. All from the blog I read was:

I wrote something up and put it in the impression thread last night. I pointed out some things that we needed confirmation on.

Thanks, I just read that. Hopefully there is something in there to reset games because if disconnects are as bad as they have been in the past, a tool to reset the games is almost as important as the tool to replace/add players.
