Playstation.Blog has released the soundtrack for MLB '10: The Show.

Never heard of any of them. Like previous years. But I am sure I will find at least one song I like, like I do every year, and keep it in the play-list along with my custom one I do.

Last year I kept Parlor Mob in my play-list.

I like that they don't pick "popular" artists. Way too much subjectivity.

And nobody should complain either, since you can do custom play-lists.

Silversun Pickups. Nice. Not their best song, but I won't complain about any song from my favorite band.

I am so psyched for this game that I just spent the whole day downloading the soundtracks to MVP 04 and 05....

Along with whatever gems I find in this soundtrack, this will be the MOST BADASS soundtrack ever

I actually really like the SilverSun Pickups now.
I heard the song "It's nice to know you work alone" at the event and downloaded a couple of their other tunes.
The lead singer(guy)...sounds like a girl...but they have a little Smashing Pumpkins feel to them.

Same, I'm glad about having Silversun Pickups. Last year I was glad they found the wonderful talent of Valencia and spread it around for everyone to enjoy (I know a couple of people didn't like the song though), so I hope there's another diamond in the rough here for everyone else.

Video games are a GREAT way to market yourself, band, etc...it's a great way to force the public to listen to your sound - me, for one, plays the game sooo much (especially being on the player-edit screen for HOURS on end) and I know all the words by week 1.

Love the Grouch,Eligh,Gift of Gab and Pigeon John so glad to see a song on there from them. Also looking forward to the Silversun Pickups.

On the song that's on the soundtrack, it is a girl singing half of every verse.

But yeah, the singer does sound a bit feminine at times.

This Silversun singer sure does sound like a girl, but maybe it's the girl I'm hearing, who knows. I like the song though, just listened for the 1st time. That Night Horse song is pretty cool too.

Always love the music the show puts as the soundtrack. I love finding new artist's, and the music in past versions is usually close to my personal taste so I'm looking forward to hearing what '10 has to offer.

P.S MVP's soundtracks were Awesome!

Yeah, she does have a certain cuteness about her. When I saw them live a few months ago she was having bra strap issues, and there was something very sexy about her pulling the strap back into place between strums. Heh.

I actually had no idea she was singing half of each verse on that song until I saw the above show. Her voice on that song is much deeper than the rest of what you hear from her, as well as quite a lot deeper than her speaking voice.

Band of Skulls, The Grouch & Eligh, and The Heavy would be my personal favorite artist(s) off the Soundtrack. Along with some custom music I like to add myself.

Just saw that Silversun Pickups will be musical guest on Jimmy Kimmel tonight. (Tues 1/26) Gonna have to check them out. Who knows, maybe they will mention being part of MLB:the show 10
