You should be able to since your basically coaching and telling guys how they should. I wouldn't do it tons though, since no matter what a coach does, a player will still use his tendencies.

Great video!
It shows the deserved love to one of the biggest, best and most overlooked new features of this year game.
Just love how it works for the role players (i.e. bonner getting open for the wing 3, josh powell setting up for the baseline mid-range J).
2k marketed the signature plays with that simple kobe trailer (which actually wasn't even about a the new tendencies) for appealing the average gamer and then you find the crazy amount of new tendencies introduced, which is the heaven for any hardcore gamer
I hope that for 2k11 they introduce something similiar for add more depth to coach profiles and team tendencies
