So online fatigue is broken. The fix to make it work also flipped the default for online games to OFF and nobody caught it. Flame away. It's a failure on 3 levels: programming/QA/Production. That's all I can say.
It diffiently feels more polished.. played against the C's and the TRUTH was killing me with ISO's(especially when he had a mismatch) I loved how i had to adjust my defensive focus. Well done EA

Same thing happens to me I'm trying to get used to it and it doesn't help that I hate the R2 L2 buttons on the PS3 remote.
Can anyone else confirm this? How about rebounding?
I don't know why Beluba hasn't been able to fix the transition game in LIVE...he had a decent mix of full court basketball way back in Inside Drive 2004. Maybe the DNA just doesn't allow the CPU to attack in transition?

Is rebounding improved at all? Does the CPU now kick the ball out and re-set it's offense at all?

It's just like it was in 2k10 they put some kind of code for all players at zero for layup vs dunk aggresiveness. You got to go in and change it on your own or waite for EA to assign an actual rating for all players.

I'm still crossing my fingers on a fix for the transition game.
I am / was going to play a dynamic season PM...so I can only use EA's rosters.

I think you guys have to be patient and waite for them to edit that rating because there's no way all players should be at zero.
I think 2k just unlocked their's last week so maybe the Live team is waiting for the real games to start before unlocking their's. It'll definetly improve the fastbreak logic of players.
Dave...I was looking specifically for your comments as you are pretty much the biggest LIVE fan on these boards and have made a lot of good posts on the game for two seasons now.
So...to read of all those problems + crazy 3 point shots + no kick outs is kind of dissapointing.
Everyone seems to be saying the offense is now way too quick, 7 seconds and less stuff like the Mike D offense...is the game really this bad? Your opinion is pretty similar to mine on this game on most issues.
I've only played one game post patch and I have to say i didn't experience what you had going on.
At first I was wondering what I could notice right off, right away I kept thinking something just feels smoother. Then it happened and a said WOW out loud. Baron Davis tried to blow by fisher (i had LA) but I was able to recover in a very realistic way. Baron put another move on me and I notice I was able to stay in front of him. It just felt right, he pulled up for a jumper and nailed it (damn Fisher). Then i started noticing i was able to compete for rebounds, once I saw these things it was easy to see all the polish they put into the patch. The back down feature is a dream. I also notice the player are a bit more aware of where the ball is.
Whats really cool that i've been seeing is players not giving up on the play. I had fisher guarding davis again, Baron drove and there was the mid air collision animation but whats amazing is Kobe slid over and blocked the continuation. So at least we didn't give up the 3 point play. I thought maybe i was seeing things but it happened at least two more times where my help came even on the foul (they don't alway get the block but it a nice touch).
I could go on and on but what i felt was even though I got spanked it wasn't because i was cheated by broken features, it was all human error.
I will agree the fouls seemed to lean to much toward the CPU (they went to the line 39 to my 19) but they were constantly on the attack once my bigs were in fouls trouble. I'll have to keep an eye on this since i've only played one game since the patch.

Am I the only one who finds it hard to fathom that EA would handcuff their game out of the box like that? Lack of fastbreaks and transition is the biggest issue this game has as far as I am concerned
I don't feel like reading through all these pages. How much better is the game now? I haven't played it much since I got SvR10 but hopefully I can finally start my dynasty.
I'm loving this patch right now I don't know if you guys have noticed but the lighting looks a lot better now. And overall the game just looks smoother, dunks have less of that "rocket powered" feel. I'm seeing a lot more animations that I didn't see pre patch. From my first impressions this is one nice improvement to an already fun game.
court vision, i am getting the same thing. i just played a game in dynasty and there is NO OVERTIME. the game ends in a tie and someone how i am credited with a win. please someone correct this ASAP!
No overtimes is not cool at all please let that be something that can be repaired immediately.
On a patch note. I'm really feeling the pick and roll defense by the cpu I would sware the rotations have improved along with better cpu recognition of how to get around the picks. I had getting them hung on those down to a science pre patch.
