Is it just me or is the post up game somewhat complicated?
Don't worry. Everything is becoming a learning curve now. I mean just a few years ago. I didn't know anything about iso controls. But once I learned them. They have been the same since the jump. This year post game is DEEP like a slut in your town. I know I complained a lot about the auto post game. But all in all it was for good reason. Having the L2 as a post up button cuts down on how many different things you can map into the controller.
But one thing I don't think he mention in the video was about the reverse pivot drive finger roll. Not everyone does the same thing. Tim Duncan has some sort of a running hook (its way higher and really hard to block.).
Good breakdown, no mention of the shimmy though? Shimmy-shimmy-fake-layup, shimmy-shimmy-fake-fade, shimmy-shimmy-fade..possibilities are endless.
My biggest and ONLY issues with the post game this year is that you can travel on occasions and you cannot choose what hand you go up with when you are close to the basket. If you're not sure what I'm referring to look @ 6:43 & 6:58. It would be ideal for KG to go up with the left hand after the move but you get a random shot that usually uses the wrong hand.
Its virtually endless. this was not meant to be an exhaustive concordance but just to help guys get going with the system.
i probably should have mentioned the shimmy's but i thought everyone kind of knew that right stick shimmys and let the user get creative. maybe i'll do another short one with the shimmys but I always like to leave something up to the ol imagination.

But wait a minute you can choose what hand you want to go with in that situation. You just have to point the right stick in that direction. Or you could just wait for your player to "gather" himself. And press right trigger (R2 for PS3/me) and towards the rim and he will dunk it.
Are you sure? Because I was going to make video just like that one. But got clip of doing the same move with a finish with the left hand. I'll have to double check this.
