NCAA Basketball 10: 5 Things to Know

ESPN has posted an article on the 5 things you need to know about NCAA Basketball 10.

	"There isn't a sport more desperate for a video game makeover than college basketball. In fact, it can be argued that EA Sports is still trying to "catch up" to the best college hoops game ever made, "Coach K." Only problem is, that game was published more than ten years ago, and if you're trying to play "catch up" to a decade-plus-old experience, well, that says a lot about your product over the past few years. But according to "NCAA Basketball 10" line producer Connor Dougan, all of that is about to change. While EA actually made great strides with the 09 version, it's "NCAA Basketball 10" that he says will finally make the college franchise feel fresh, "and not just play like a pro game with college uniforms."

Very impressed. I can't believe they got 2 broadcast teams and telecast packages implemented. I have not bought an EA basketball game since the PS1 but I will buy this day 1 to show support for the direction they are taking this game.

I am hoping the lack of info on dynasty in the article is because they are taking their time releasing news. I really want a solid dynasty so I can keep coming back and playing all year.

Exactly. Based on NBA Live 10, gameplay should be more than solid. Like Ehh said, I'm worried about the dynasty mode.

Multiplayer dynasty, please.

I agree! This is the one major question. If Dynasty won't be at least on CH2k8 level, then NCAA 10 will be a tough decision, especially since Live 10 turned out so great and since you won't be able to integrate your rookies in Live 10.

Nevertheless, this sounds all promising and I am sure, gameplaywise this game will be very good.

I hope Bank of America Arena is in this year, or at least a bigger "W" at center court is fixed this year. Man I can't wait for this game, props to the EA Basketball teams for the effort they have put in this year.

Thought I was only going to get one hoop game this year (Live), but NCAA might be number two.

The play call system is legit fellas. The movement is Crazy real and the presentation is superb... SO I have heard anyway.

Whoever worked on the presentation for this game needs to go to every other EA dev team and punch them in the face. You guys just showed that true TV presentation is possible, and not only that but MULTIPLE TV presentations in the same game. If NHL 11, Live 11, NCAA Football 11 and Madden 11 are still using the lame "EA Sports Network" then someone needs to be fired. I NEVER EVER EVER thought I would be saying this, but the NCAA Basketball team just set the new standard. Everyone else wake up and take note.

I'm skimped through the first 2 things on the list, but paused and smile on the third item - ESPN and CBS integration!! I've been wanting a sports game to do this for ages!! I honestly didn't think it was possible for resources or legal reasons. Now, I can read on...

completely agree. A few adjustments to both may make me forget about Choops. Loving the multiple broadcast teams and stations. DAMN

Yea, count me in on this one. I'm LOVING Live 10 and with this game getting tweaks of the Live 10 engine and such PLUS ESPN AND CBS presentation, oooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh. That CBS presentation video almost made me lose my mind, yesterday. This game is copped, day 1.

It's amazing how well a company can succeed if it just puts its priorities in line. This may be day one purchase, and I know about 15% of the info. Congratulations guys.

As if I wasn't getting this game before, everything sounds amazing. I hope the immersion is as good as Live, if not better, because Lie just draws me in man. This game has the potential to be off the charts.
