I was glad to see OSU on top.

I just can't wait to see which powerhouse wins this meaningless tournament.

Remember how the devs stated over and over and over that they created this thing to make a level playing field, and that even smaller schools could compete and win? Yea. That sure worked didn't it. Of course I really don't care I never even signed up for SS and have zero reason to. It's just that this has turned in to exactly what people on here said it would. A competition amongst the powerhouses trying to show off who has the bigger e-penis in a video game.

For as much as this feature is hated, I actually kind of like the feel of pride and stuff. Especially when you're #1 on your team's board because it has no fan base

Haha, I'm with you there. I take pride on being my teams Number 1 online player (Cincinnati) and trivia..

Season Showdown is fun IMO. It should heat up now that the season has started. The trouble is actually finding my actual showdown opponents

How do you get Online Showdown points?

And what are the 5 categories you compete in vs your oppenant?

GO ROCKETS... even though we don't have a shot in hell

Games vs. CPU
Games vs. Showdown Opponent
Games Online vs. Nation
Allies & Rivals
Trivia Challenge

Actually, right now #100 Toledo is 0-4-1 in the five categories vs. #55 Purdue. However, if Toledo (and all of the smaller programs) could mobilize and get more people to take part in Trivia there would be a lot more upsets. (Spread the word to friends via e-mail, social networking sites, fan message boards, etc.)

I'll use a vote each day the rest of the week to pick Toledo and help get them ahead in the Allies & Rivals category. You guys are just down one (27-26) in it right now. It's also 0-0 in vs. Showdown and only a slight deficit in Trivia.

The bigger schools are almost always going to win the first two categories, but the smaller schools have a shot in the other three.

I wish they would focus in more on these types of game modes. They are so much more fun than dynasty and playing the game. I'm super stoked for this killer feature!!!! Thank God, its like Christmas in September!

What. A waste. Of time. So much other stuff could have been done w/ whatever was wasted on this.

I rep the mighty football powerhouse, THE San Diego State University Aztecs... and I like competing on the leaderboard for my school too. It also gives me a reason to take them online if I can find an opponent whos SS school matches up...

Hey at least you're doing better than Stanford. Last of all BCS teams at a whopping #104 ranking.
