I'm thinking it's an alleyoop indicator something that comes up when your player is in position for an alley oop.

i like that the right players will be making those types of passes real smart....i don't think we can compare to the competition at this moment cause we really haven't seen anything except a beta version of 2k10 but i think this year live will make a run for the crown
Yea I think it was Mike who said they were having a hard time programming that in the game.

Wow, that Deron Willams clip sealed it for me! EA has my $60 bucks this year. This is the kind of bball i have been waiting for since i purchased thesenext gen systems. great job EA!

So is this freestyle passing like a lead passing thats in 2k9? Or does the passing go to the closest player you direct to?

oh yeah and that icon on the ally was part of the new off the ball player control they added. Notice how thomas was already selected before the ball was thrown. He just ran into position and called for the ally.

Passing looks really good right now, some passes were amazing like Kobe's.
1) Loved the pass by Kobe.
2) Loved the rim/ball interaction on Delonte West's shot at the end of the vid. I loved seeing the ball clang in.

Eww, the Bulls ally-oop was horrible. Udonis Haslem watched as it was completed. The rest looked nice though. I REALLY like Kobe's pass.
P.S. Please get Rodney Stuckey's right wrist correct. He wears white tape. White tape is probably not in the game, but at least put a white wristband there.
