I really thought the part where it shows the defending player take the puck by kicking it up to his stick was really cool.

I really hope in this one that stick collision is in. The one thing that frustrated me the most was taking away the cut to the middle of the slot only to see the offensive players stick move through me. If they could have the shafts react to when they hit things and not just the puck itself would be a much needed enhancement. How many times does a guy get a shot off in a crowded slot happen when really theres no room for him to follow through. As well being able to take a shot right in front of a d man and have him just let you do it instead of poking it away in your wind up.

Looks like a great demo...something for everyone. Regular game, and BAP. Even the demo can't come soon enough.

Great... it is 90 degrees outside and all I can think about is hockey.

For Buffalo, that's bad. No a/c in the house. We're not equipped to deal with this. Heck, my snow brush is still in the trunk of my car.

Me too.....from when I lived in Elmira. It's about 105 now, but dry, and the AC is constantly running.

Like I said in another thread on this forum recently, I can't watch trailers anymore. I want to actually play the game. Yes, I like what the demo has to offer but all these trailers aren't doing anything for me anymore. I won't be truly satisfied until the demo actually comes out!

Looks like you can still do a one timer from a pass to your off hand. At the end of the video. A left handed defenseman on the left side of the ice took a pass from the right and laced a one timer as if he was right handed. I guess they will never make it realistic thus having a left or right handed shot at the point means nothing, since everyone can blast one timers with ease no matter where they receive the pass from and no matter where they are on the ice.

Isn't the point to go to a not-so-great team and turn them around to bring them to a cup? Cause' I wouldn't mind being an Islander to bring them to glory. :P

Anyway, finally got to watch the video, looks great. I just can't wait any longer for them demo. ):

The thing is this is not a hardcore aspect of hockey. It's basic hockey 101. Right handed shot on the point needs to be on the left side for a one timer, while a lefty needs to be on the right to lace a one time slapper. This gaf is akin to having a lefty play third, short or second base in baseball.

NHL 10 has turned into the "madden" of hockey, at least for us Canucks and the northern states, and they can thank 2K for pushing them. I'd actually love to see the franchise be re-named "madden" after John Madden of the devils, lol.
