Game Designer, Ryan Santos, checks in with another NBA Live 10 blog.

"As we start to wrap up the game, it’s amazing to see just how far LIVE 10’s player visuals have come. Today I’ll be going over those improvements in more depth.

Like all sim sports games, we strive to achieve the most realistic looking player models. I’m fortunate enough to work with some of the most talented people in the biz. Because of that, NBA LIVE 10 has made a huge leap forward in terms of visual improvements regarding the players. Let’s start with the models."

The game looks amazing and greatly improved from Live 09. My only gripe, which is not a game breaker, is that they all seem to have wide bodies. Rip and Rudy should really differ from Lebron a little bit and the same with Tim Duncan compared to Shaq and Yao. Muscle tone and etc. seem to be spot on, but body width needs work. All the models seem to have a stocky feel to them, but either way the game looks good period.

I hope Live's presentation is better

I know Ian put his foot in it. But I'm an NBA guy before NFL. I'm going to cop, but I think imma play it first. The demo did no justice for me.

I love their cutscenes though...

Seeing Romo talk to the media after the game is epic.

Tim Duncan looks spot on. Unreal. A little off topic but Marcus will his pregame ritual (cradling the ball) be in the game? Curious because in the Slam vid, I didn't see it. But I figure the ones that were shown were not all the pregame stuff. Thanks.

Yea I love the cutscenes when they trigger properly and make sense.

The cutscense are NFL 2k5 inspired. But as for NBA Live 10. Can we get some Dwyane Wade shots like the LeBron shots???... I mean he was an NBA Live 06 cover guy and is a newly aquired Jordan brandee. Show some loveeeee...

Wonder if we will be able to put those cool socks on our created players, or if it'll just be generic???

This. I love creating players but they always looks weird compared to the real player models.

This game puts live 09 to shame visually...live 09 looked like no one wore lotion

To imaging i was hype off of Live 09s demo. I thought those were good but maybe it was the upgrade from 08 lol.

So far EA you've passed 2/3 of my player tests. I put, Carmelo Anthony, Rudy Gay and Kevin Durant as the 3 players I remember off the top of my head looking like last year lol. So far Melo and Rudy have passed the test.

Next year they should just let us sculpt every single part of our created player. If we want big azz Yao Ming legs then let us get creative, and really make a unique player.

i actually thought 09 graphics was a downgrade from 08, what was wroung with durant in live I know 2k9 durant was horrible.
