EA has posted another NBA Live 10 blog. This one showing off some sneakers.

The skin textures in Live this year are SERIOUS. Seems like they took the tech from Fight Night or something, because it looks crazy.

Agreed. EA's detail is just bananas compared to the competition. 2K has got some nice visuals, but a lot of their things just don't match or looks like it doesn't belong in the game. Love the authenticity though and that throughout the season, sneakers will change as players wear different colorways. Nice.

It was a great way to hear about the inspiration behind the shoe. I’m also looking forward to seeing all of the colorways.

On the topic of fresh colorways for the Nike Air Max Lebron VII, NBA LIVE 10 will have a bunch of colorways of LBJ’s sig shoe in the game. Like I mentioned in previous interviews and blogs, LIVE will have certain players change out their shoes throughout the season just like real-life. We work closely with brands like NIKE to coincide with the roll-out plan for their sneaker line up. We actually got our hands on this top secret shoe early to make sure it made it into the game. So now that everybody’s seen the shoe on the webcast, here’s an image from the virtual LeBron wearing his hot new Nike Air Max LeBron VII for the first time in a video game.

That’s just one of many versions that will be available in our game. Soon, we’ll be dropping a new video to give you a sneak peek of more NBA player kicks.

BTW A big shout out goes to my long time homeboy at NIKE Basketball, Jason Petrie (aka Alpha Project for all you oldschool Niketalk heads) for designing another dope shoe. Congrats on designing your first shoe for King James!
