no 1-4-6 for the Ravens or Jets. Those were the two books it was supposed to be in. I see they subbed the 1-5-5 in for the Jets. That's ok, it probably didn't get Q & A tested.

Be on the lookout too for what we are calling "Hidden formations"

For example, in the Bears Singleback Ace & Singleback Spread Flex there are several plays where the formation is modified a bit so that the outside receivers line up tight to the line. (Spread Flex - Smash, Stick)

Or Browns playbook - Weak Pro - Mesh, FB Dive (split end lines up close)

Not every, but a good number. Cardinals have some in the Strong Pro I think it is. 3 Z-Close plays.

Yeah, they have been increasing in appearance for a few years now. There were a decent amount last year but now its starting to really show up.

There is actually a few plays in one formation in arizona's PB with 4 WRs to one side. Can you say zone buster? lol

its pretty much the same as last years... I guess I have just grown attached to it, I have squeezed the $$$ outa every play in that book ahhaha

Altho I am a bit disappointed at the lack of Wildcat plays... Oakland had put together many wildcat formations as soon as they drafted McFadden.... and Bush had completed a couple of passes last season.

Also one of my favourite $$$ plays is gone... HB screen pass with a deep post out of Strong Pro

Look at the Run Heavy playbook, also the Packers playbook and Falcons have like 3 plays in them on the normal Fullhouse.

Yeah, I know that a lot of people hated it online but that was one of my favorite formations on franchise mode. In head coach they actually have a ton of different plays for that formation with some really good pitch plays, I wish I could somehow import those.

Same i got a lot of crap for using it online at times but it was my own little variation of the wildcat with miami u didnt know who was getting the ball lol. Really i played HC but i never bothered using the fullhouse guess i missed out. The thing i dont like about the formations in 10 is that neither blocker lines up in front of the RB both are offset.

have u seen the T-formation anywhere?

I dunno about anybody else, but I'd kinda prefer more I-Forms in the Bears playbook, but I noticed quite a few shotgun formations in there (which for me, makes it too predictable since I can't seem to run out of it at all)

And weren't the Bears supposed to have a wildcat with Hester/Forte taking the snaps?

I think they only ran 2 wildcat plays all year, plus now that they have Cutler I doubt they will be running a gimmic formation like the wildcat

# 59 MVP23 @ 08/07/09 07:31 PM
I think they only put the wildcat for teams that used it last year. From what i seen so far the dophins are the only team with passing plays in there Wildcat.

There used to be a formation in the Colts playbook called dice fly. Has this been renamed or did they gut the set?. I cant find it in any other playbooks. The motions were nice, you could offset the HB, motion the slot tight next to the TE, and also motion to a bunch.
