Isn't that at Indy's DOME stadium? What's with the rain?

No, The superbowl pro bowl members will be replaced since they are playing in the big game the following week.

Then EA where are correct team helmets? In the Pro bowl teams wear their own helmets. EA is full of Shhhhhhh. Lies lies lies, i'm so tired of it.
Ok then using your logic, then when you actually do play in the probowl you can't play defense. You can't blitz, sack the quarterback or anything like that. You can only play a vanilla defense and let the other team do what they want to you.

Now I don't know about you but that isn't very fun.

Personally the helmet issue sucks but it isn't that big of a deal. I would rather them work on the Super Bowl and other franchise aspects first. The Pro Bowl is only 1 game a year and has absolutely ZERO meaning. Just my 2 cents

I skip the Pro Bowl 90% of the time anyway. Would be nice to have but to me it isn't a big deal.

I love that this thread was COMPLETELY derailed because of helmets.

Compared to the demo of the Superbowl on my PS3 these graphics look incredible.

Should I be worried that the PS3 is falling behind in the graphics department this year or does the Pro Bowl video look great, not because it's on the 360, but because it's a much later build than the Superbowl demo and will look equally good on the PS3?

RCA Dome was torn down last year. Our new place has a roof that can be opened or closed.

sure Madden 07's players all looked like they were on steroids...but graphic wise, it was one of the best out there....we will never know how they could have improved on it if they didn't cut back on the game just to achieve 60fps in 2008. (well at least on the 360 )

MLB The show, PES 2009/10 (soccer game) and from gameplay clips....so far BackBreaker...are all doing doing so much more graphically (High rez player models, realistic Lighting) yet they all run at 60fps.

but don't get me wrong, I do like how they are trying to give each stadium its own authentic look when playing there....I can't explain it right now, but each stadium has its own atmosphere....and its not just "here is a stadium, here is the time of day....CPU calculate the look now".......it is more so, artistic.
MLB the Show, while graphical amazing, the player models are not. Shoulders too wide, arms too short, etc. They have the player faces down though.

On topic, I think it's a nice video but I don't think I'll be playing the Pro Bowl this year since I don't have any interest in it in real life either.

I sure hope there is an option to turn off that silly breakaway TD camera shaking thing. It looks terrible.

If anything this proves that they're honest. If I were EA, I would not be allowing gameplay vids that show that I deliberately left something true to football out.

So, honest.

Either that or a little bit... aloof, to say the least.

Um this year the pro bowl takes place before the superbowl and no SB's teams players are gonna play in it anymore .

At 1:30 in the video when the replay screen is shown it flashes the "EA" logo.
At 1:50 in the video when the replay is shown, it flashes the "NFL" logo

Whats up with that?

WTF IS # 97 DOING WALKING AROUND ON THAT GANG TACKLE JACOBS BROKE AT THE END?!!!!

# 37 PantherBeast_OS @ 07/29/09 05:44 PM
I am sure they will add the helmets into madden 11 for the pro bowl. They are doing their best. Give them a break.

Dude, I don't know whussup with your TV or PS3 or hookup or what. I have a 1080p Aquos and run my PS3 through an HDMI 1.3a cable with gold plating on the ends - THE DEMO LOOKS SICK!! MUCH better than Madden 09, which I liked too. As for someone speaking about the NCAA 10 demo sucking but the retail version looking great, that was definitely true on my PS3. I had a hard time dealing with the not so crispness of the demo visuals but once I got the retail version, woooo, was I happy. I can imagine how much better the visuals the retail version of Madden 10 will look.

As for the helmet issue, I don't think that is something that people would just ignore and not talk about in earnest. I actually posted a blog about this helmet deally, yesterday, after IGN posted the vid. I thought Ian had said that the Pro Bowl helmets would be team specific, this year, but I could be wrong...yet for some reason it is sticking in my head that he did say that. Eh, it is what it is but, in all honesty, I don't play the Pro Bowl anymore just because of that fact. It actually irks me so I skip it, now.

That video got awesome at 3:20. Hate Me Now was bumpin, and then Jacobs breaks that nasty run. Looking forward to this game.
Also, not contributing to the helmet debate haha
