NBA Live 10: Five Things to Know (ESPN Videogames)

ESPN Videogames have posted an article on the Five Things to Know about NBA Live 10.

	"Chris Paul pops a 3 to give the Hornets the lead and as he pumps his fists in celebration, you hear Ric Flair's trademark "Woo!" blare out over the PA system to help hype the crowd. Play as the Warriors and the Oakland crowd greets sharpshooting Italian Marco Belinelli with chants of "Rocky! Rocky!" Bring the Magic to the playoffs and you'll even see Dwight Howard bust out the "Superman" dance prior to tipoff. These are just some of the enhancements made to the overall atmosphere of EA Sports' basketball series for "NBA Live 10," a franchise that has struggled both in sales and in perception as of late, making EA the underdog in its roundball rivalry with 2K Sports and its award-winning "NBA 2K" series. But don't just think all of "Live's" changes are simply a series of woos, chants and Soulja Boy dance steps as EA also promises some amazing strides forward in terms of game play, introducing new elements like the size-up dribble."

I enjoyed this article alot! Nice insight to some things in the process of making this game...

Hopefully it turns out as good as he sees it or better.

Lol. Hopefully D.Wade has his own design of Jordan Brand kicks a la Carmelo and Chris Paul... If not then yeah Black and Red 12's for Wade in my game lol

great read. some of those pick have the unis looking like wax though. I'm sure they are very early though. Sounds great!!!!!

They probably are early screens, but the game is just about finished. I can't wait to see some screens and videos of the latest build.

Yea, i hope that the devs know that New Orleans' # fonts are still wrong...but still, its an early build and I hope that it will be fixed b4 the final build

Sounds exciting, but I'd rather care about signature shots, free throws and animations rather than 500 different shoe brands. NBA Live has been severely lacking in the above mentioned departments as opposed to the 2K series.

I'm assuming just saying Mike Wang you guys should already know sig's is in there. He is the creator of it if you guys didn't know. Its his child for lack of a better term. Been with him since Inside Drive, then went even bigger in NBA 2k7, and now even bigger with NBA Live 10 (???) ... I'm assume yes.

im so pumped for this game! i just hope werent not in for a huge let down. I will keep all negative comments to myself untill i play the demo. I want to see how the players "feel" when playing the game. BTW dwade will be in the bl/red 11's in my franchise!

we have different jersey textures this year, so you'll see the shimmer on some (Miami, Denver, etc)

They do that with all the games they have screenshots for. I don't understand their obsession of tampering with the screens to make them look so damn bright.
