you guys aree..wow.. just cuz they said weekly blogs doesnt mean that every now nd then something doesnt go wrong, just pretend yesterdays foto release was the blog and let that hold you to nxt week.

Can't believe you are giving up on it already mj jr. this only the 7th week since they started I believe. We still have 3 months before the release and they only have missed 2 out of that 7. Give them a chance man they can still make up for this the game doesn't come out until Oct. 6.

I promise you they probably wont show any real gameplay videos until next month. 2k hasnt shown anything, so why would EA play their hand so early. This is a full fledged all out bonified war between the 2 companies. So just chill people, we'll have our blogs soon enough. Its way too early to be wildin out over it. Maddens bout to drop, so be happy we'll have the demo next week. Live will give us some excitement soon enough. Remember people, 2k has been more tight lipped then EA. Atleast we got some more pics. I'm still pumped bout the Larry O'brian trophy being in the middle of the court for the Finals! Plus D-wade has switched to Brand Jordan and they'll have his sneakers in the game. Now thats something to look foward to.

Love this shot. I can't help but feel the game has a more "cartoon-ish" approach to its graphics this year though. It's strange how the old Live's sucked, yet the graphics were a step in the direction of realistic looking textures. I still like it though... just an observation.

I believe the cartoony look is just the lighting brotha. Or at least, that's what I'm thinking. The color palette from the older Live's just looked more "real" in my opinion as everything wasn't so vibrant.

Dont' get me wrong, I love what I'm seeing, graphics looks crisp as always, but I think the cartoon look comes from the color palette used.

The TP screen looks good though. Looking forward to seeing the new facial animations. Hope they have Duncan's "THAT WAS NO FOUL!" look, peering at the ref.

I think the cartoon-ish look is the color pallete and lighting. I think that the player textures in Live for the past couple years look great with their skin looking more realistic. If they can work on the cloth physics (a little too much shorts movement), sweat (sweating profusely all the time, even bench players who haven't even got in the game yet) and maybe even some of the facial structures of some of the players, that would be great.

Yes, it does remind me a lot more of an upgraded Live '05.

That's not a bad thing IMO... I just find it odd (and a bit ironic) that some blast games for looking like "upgraded" versions of older games, but only when it suits their cause.

Who cares.... give me a great playing game any day. Just get it to play like the sort and I'm sold.
