It will be unforgivable if MS makes us 360 users go the weekend without the patch! Red circles of Death... now this!!! Get it done!

Is Heisman playable with new sliders? All American tough enough?

Let's hear more on the pass rush and what sliders you are using to get a good one
You should know better than to trust a GS employee rather than ask us here.

After playing quite a few games after the update, I must say I'm impressed on how well the sliders work.

I know, im an idiot. I was at the store, and was gonna post via OS mobile, but had no signal in the cave of a story. He was half right. It does support iPod music (for stadium sounds or streaming) but not iPhone or iTouch. Damnit all.

I'm gonna call to see if they'll let me swap it out.

I didn't even know that download last night was the sliders patch and I was just messing with them while playing and I was stunned cause I thought they were supposed to be broken LOL. Needless to say, I'm pleasantly surprised. This is how I envision sliders to work, let me customize this game how I want it. Much props to the team for making that happen. Makes the game much more enjoyable cause now I can cater it to my skills and all that.

The Penalty sliders appear to also be affected by the patch.

I will ask the guys who know how patchable this is. If it is a per team setting (I don't believe it is), then definitely not. If there is one change that fixes everyone and can be patched (not everything can be patched), then I will fight for it!

Though this brings up a case that a lot of you probably don't think of that we as a design team face everyday. There might be a fix that will center all these. However, it might totally mess up the teams that don't have a centering problem! Regardless, I'll find out more soon.

Does this mean there is a chance the patch can fix the gray long sleeves that are supposed to be white?

So, is it official that 360 users are waiting until next week, or just a best guess (I know this is out of EA's hands...it just stinks reading how well the sliders work without a patch available for the 360)?

Adam, I wanna give my 2 cents on chew clock. I like this option on from the start to the end of the game. First it simulates the huddle offense, using the "ask Corso option", I can get back to the LOS from one play to the other in 6 seconds on the game clock, real life time. This way I can push the quarter length up to 15.
Besides, in late game situations it forces me to use a no huddle offense to spare precious seconds, again as in real life. So I hope you don't touch it in future patches for the last minutes of the halves as someone in this thread has wished. After all there's always the option to turn it off when you want.
The icing on the cake would be to give this option to the cpu too.

And by the way, great job on the sliders!!!

Tell them the only reason you bought it was because of what that guy told you.

Adam said earlier he thought Tuesday sounded about right but he doesn't know. I'll thank the football gods if we can somehow get it by Friday!

Yes i 2nd and 3rd this motion. I hope it stays in ncaa for the years to come but i also wish if it is possible to put the chew clock feature for the cpu in a patch 2 so it can be a true acc clock!!!

I hope you get your wish, cause that's mine too. Mainly cause I'd like to get my sliders figured out before named rosters hit and I can hit my dynasty running.

I hope you are right my friend, causeim dying over here, cause the PS3 guys look like they are loving things once the sliders got fixed, and that's the only thing holding back in my eyes. Good thing I have FN4 to hold me off til the patch drops.

I plan on it. Wish we had a definitive 360 date.

This is the problem with both consoles. Don't ever know which system to get a game for.

Online: XBOX Live is better but costs money
Graphics: typically in 360's favor
Ease of use: PS3 (thumb drive for everything)
Stability: RROD...nuff said.

callmetaternuts - Actually, GS will refund or exchange open games within 7days of purchase. I wish I woulda known that they still did that when I picked up Virtua Tennis 4. Ha...

As for these sliders, my issue with blocking, mostly on kickoff/punt returns seems to have been fixed with the run blocking slider. I amped it up to 60 and noticed that my guys actually blocked better. Maybe it's just my imagination and that was only one game but I'm about to play NCAA some more. GREAT game, this has turned out to be and the sliders are making it even better.
