Man those De's need to get outside more. It still looks to easy to roll the qb outside. Thats the only bummer thing I noticed in that vid.

Loved the MvP handout at the end of the game...NiceLooks like the ending celebrations are gonna be amazing.

Man I wish we can just skip this month (I used to love ncaa more than madden and I am saying this lol )

(I preface my remarks with acknowledging that this was just a short video of highlights, just commenting on what was or wasn't in the video....)

Exactly what I was thinking. They were able to easily roll two fairly immobile QBs (Collins especially). I saw no pass rush. I know there has been talk about the CPU pass rush being improved but I haven't seen much about the user's - in that video there really wasn't any rush. Maybe that was on Pro where it is more offensive minded.

I saw the same old with the QBs, able to roll out and drop far back. They also seemed pretty accurate, though again it was a highlight reel.

Yeah I thought the same...

must not of been playing on all madden.

Anyways, people are going to really like the super bowl presentation.

Everyone needs to remember that this vid was showing mainly OFFENSIVE highlights and normally on big plays the O-line does its job pretty well. The defensive line does not get upfield on every single play so until we see a full game, especially where one team has a superior line versus the others, it's not time to hit the panic button.

Should we be concerned that the endzones are blank?

"Losing to Phil Frazier, who is TERRIBLE"... Love it...

It was alright, The score was believable, Ian's tackling skill looks somewhat suspect

They actually won't be blank for either when the game ships. I said in the other thread, but I can say it again here - we're on a pretty old build (we started the Franchise like a month ago), so that should be fixed along with a few other things here and there.

i notice even though the d-ends sometimes dont get press on the qb, the secondary does a good job in coverage.

and i see the Titans fumbled the game away just like the did last year in the playoffs. this is an accurate super bowl preview.
You haven't seen the vids of the thunderbirds?

Ian thanks for all your hard work. Is Player Lock in Madden10? Go Cowboys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a question in last years madden it seemed you got punished for staying in the pocket because of the camera angle and the O line just seemed it could not protect long enough for a wide out to run their routes. Ian can I now stand in the pocket and pick teams apart passing when giving time?

I feel like I died a little inside lol seeing the Superbowl celebration before I got to win it myself...

I like that little baby juke on the kickoff return from CJ. That was pretty tight.

My bad, thank you for the 411 even if you are a Giants fan.

Overall it is a good video. However, I'm still upset by the poor run blocking we see by the WRs in the highlights. I don't expect WRs to be good like H. Ward, but these guys are ignoring the CBs and then looping around and doing nothing on the sweeps. I would rather see WRs with low run blocking/footwork/etc to just fail on run blocks, not ignore the CB. Also the DEs just aren't getting any pressure on these plays. how long was ian holding onto the ball during his three terrible passes? He didn't have any pressure to throw those bad balls, that's for sure. Then again it is an old build. Maybe they don't have the "fix" in that build.

P.S. I'm going to have to make some passing 101 videos. Ian, my man, what are you doing out there? Your QB wasn't failing you, you were throwing into coverage. You are good with a deep ball, but I gotta teach you how to throw the short and medium ones.
