Does it really matter who pays $100 for it or not? Goodness if you're getting it, good. If not, good but either way everyone in this thread is gonna have the game the day it comes out LOL.

But yea, I'll more than likely be getting this as well. Could use that locker anyway lol.

$100 is steep, again just my opinion tho
You spend extra money for shirts with a horse patch ironed on but you want to complain about other people buying this?

# 43 DC @ 06/30/09 05:07 PM
Yea GSW, you spend $200 on jeans man. You can't be cheap sometimes and other time spend crazy $

@ People "wanting" the locker. Forced justification.

# 44 jfsolo @ 06/30/09 05:10 PM
If they were giving away an official NBA game ball, or jersey or something like that, then I'd be all over it, but this stuff isn't worth it for me.

# 45 ProfessaPackMan @ 06/30/09 05:18 PM
Who's justifying it, DC? Locker or not I was planning on buying the LE regardless since I do that with games I have enjoyed alot(COD, Madden, GTA IV)

Again, if people want to spend the extra money, why does it matter to YOU? LOL

Either way, we all know you're not getting it since you've beaten yourself to death about how cheap you are LOL

This is a discussion about the 10th Anniversary, don't use the, "Why are you worried what someone else is doing" defense mechanism on me man

Where do you keep your games now that you just NEED that locker?

# 47 ProfessaPackMan @ 06/30/09 05:34 PM
"I don't want no trouble man."

i wear jeans and all my clothes every day through out the week... im nto going to be watching a stupid history of 2k games and rubbing off to a kobe poster to justify buying 100$ videogame.

matters not that i buy ralph

im talking abut buying a 100$ videogame.

thats excessive to me.

so funny we talkin about a 100$ videogame and people wanna talk about my personal spending habits... so because i buy ralph lauren i shoudlnt have anythign to say about a 100$ videogame and a use less tin foil game locker?

come on yall.

No, but don't get on someone for spending $100 on a game + more and you spend $200 for a name and expect people not to say anything about it.

thats the thing i never bagged on anyone.

i said if thats what yall need to do go ahead and do that.. 100$ for a game is excessive

second. i spend money on quality. but thats a whole nother argument. for a completely different thread.

third. i really dont see how bringing up how much i personally spend on clothing items has to do with the 10 anniverseray editon of nba 2k10.

especially when i never bagged on anyone.

Millionaire or not, I think it is crazy to spend $100 on 1 game
? I have the playoffs and Super Bowl dvr'd; still watch them regularly. I don't have to force myself to watch the dvds just because I brought them; I enjoy watching them. Just saying that value is relative. No one's saying someone has to purchase the LE. But I don't get the complaining about it. They're trying to mark an anniversary for the game with something unique. It has some cool items and it's not nearly as pricey as some limited editions are. Just have a hard time seeing an issue with it.

# 52 DC @ 06/30/09 05:56 PM
LOL @ The whole "quality denim" issue again. I won't even touch one again.

Nostalgia set in hard when I saw that it was the 10th anny. I remember getting NBA 2K for my Dreamcast. Good times.

You didn't get on anyone specifically, but you seemed to be trying to belittle anyone who was deciding to get it with the "tin" and "im nto going to be watching a stupid history of 2k games and rubbing off to a kobe poster to justify buying 100$ videogame" comments (don't think it comes with a dvd btw). The argument's really the same imo. Personally I'd have a hard time spending $60+ on a pair of jeans but that's me; I'm not going to belittle anyone else's choice to do so. I could see if we were talking outrageously overpriced values that would warrant comment. I just don't see how this limited edition does

I don't care if you want it or not but it makes no sense to me that you spend money on the clothes that you do and then want to criticize other people for spending their money on what they want.

That's a cool looking setup, but I'm not in a space to throw down that kind of jack on any LE Package. If I were, I may do it. Isn't the LE Batman Arkham Game Set $90? Will people be fighting crime with their personal batarang throwing it into the arms of unsuspecting criminals to justify that purchase as well? Fact is no one has to justify their purchases around here.

LE is an optional package for those who want those little extras, they are not a necessity. If you don't feel the extras are enough......... don't buy it. What people need to refrain from is insulting people in regards to how they spend their cash.

jfsolo--I like your idea of the official NBA Game ball or Jersey but those items by themselves are atleast $100.00+ so you would be looking at $160.00 LE Package.

GSW--People would not just be getting "a game" for $100.00 as other things are included in the LE Pack. The question is do people consider the extras worth $40? The Mcfarlane figure alone is probably worth $15-$20 and will probably go up later if you keep it in the box(Because it's Kobe Bryant). The rest????I don't know.

Personally if 2k included Kobe's autograph either on the back of the box of that Mcfarlane figurine or on the poster along with a certificate of authenticity that would be even better as far as enticement for some...

i definitely wasnt trying to belittle anyone man... i would have come out and just bagged on you if that was the case.

i was just saying 100$ is too much for me to spend on a videogame. thats all

clothes and videogames are totally seperate issues to me.

if you wanna buy the game for 100$ and feel liek youll get your moneys worth have fun...pretty sure ive made that clear liek 4 times now.

i dont know paying 100$ for 1 video game is a little excsessive man...

even with the "extras" youll prolly watch them like once... so you basically played yourself out of $40
Looks like criticism to me.
