NCAA Football 10 News Post

We are now less than one month away from the release of Electronic Arts’ NCAA Football 10. If you are one of the many fans of the series, you probably already know about the enhancements and additions to this year’s game. That being said, the TeamBuilder option looks nothing short of awesome and will surely suck away many hours of my life. There are times, though, when playing with real, established teams is called for. After all, if somebody is talking smack about your alma mater, you have to be able to let your play on the field do the talking. With that in mind, I thought I would take a look at 10 teams gamers should watch out for in NCAA Football 10.

Too many Obvious squads on the list.

ND, OSU, Florida, Texas...

Your title suggested to me some sleeper and up and comer squads...

But hey I'm not picking NCAA up this year anyways.

I do like your write-ups though!

Look out for Central Michigan!

What am I looking out for here? I'm sorry but I'm having trouble understanding the basis of this article. Oregon State, WVU, and Utah made the list. If this list is about the best teams in NCAA 10 then I would disagree. FSU, well I guess we should look out for them every year.

i think miami would also fit (not just cause they are my favorite team or anything like that) but they have a good reciving group and great QB

Gophers?! They have a Montana to Rice thing going on with Weber to Decker . Ooookay maybe not like that, but they should be more fun to use. It's an important year for that team - 3rd year under new coach - new stadium. Came off an improved season.

I find it funny that a miami fan would rip another school. When was the last time miami mattered?

Don't forget the SMU Mustangs (don't laugh). I know it'd be hard not to improve on their 1 win season but I think they're going to make a dramatic turn around. The run-and-shoot offense is difficult for teams to master but when they do ... sit back and enjoy the fireworks.

My top teams to watch for (in no order) outside of the obvious

Southern Miss
CMU
Nebraska
Minnesota
Iowa (had to)
Cal
Oregon
NC State
Georgia Tech

Nice to see the Irish get some love on this list. In reality I don't think anyone is really sweating the Irish. I know USC is not. Still going to take some time before ND is relevant again.

Ha ha, typical elitest Oregon fans.

With Season Showdown involved this year I think a ton of people will use UL Monroe just to make them National Champs of the virtual world and stick it to college football!

On a real note though it's nice to see my two favorite teams (Florida and Ok State) get some love even though Florida is there every year. Notre Dame should not be on this list though. Beating Hawaii in a bowl game doesn't make you automatically appealing.

It should be "look out for CMU's offense" as their defense scares nobody. And I'm an alum and love Chips' football.

GO TECH! GT might be a headache to defend if your playing a human, but based on UGA At GT video, The A.I.'s Tech is much better than my old high school's triple option.
