lol at the pass around the 2:10 mark(love the layered blending). also love the more TV-like style stat banner making a return.
also the CPU seems to run the ball 100x better than it did in '09. nice DL deflection as well.

Steve, while these videos are interesting, I think it would be a lot better if you could make some vidoes that do a better job of addressing people's concerns about gameplay.
For instance, why not take a team with a highly rated defensive line against a team with an average offensive line, and make a video of an entire game's defensive snaps to see if powerful defensive lines create consistent pressure?
Why not take a team with a mobile QB and attempt to scramble around to see if the defensive AI has improved against the scramble?
Why not go into practice mode and make a video of man coverage against various routes?
I'm just not sure that these AI vs AI videos really show us that much. We can't see playbooks, and they don't really give us very much traction in terms of breaking down/evaluating some of the AI improvements that the team has talked about.

For all her supposed hotness, Erin Andrews comes across as canned as Tom Hammond...a female Tom Hammond if you will. Is it really that difficult to come across naturally?

I wish I could watch some of these. My computer is too old and everything thats not a youtube video is choppy and slow
Thanks, Steve!
Looks like EA got in that my Wahoos run the spread now, unlike last year when we ran the Mike Groh fail offense.
Weird rosters aside, the game does look better than 09 (moreso than a lot of people have given it credit for, IMO), at least from watching the CPU play itself. I'm waiting until at least the demo comes out to make any sort of judgments myself, though.

A lot of the gameplay does look a lot smoother, but the number one thing that bothered me was the unrealistic zig-zag running. Real life football isn't like that, so why is it in the game?
Ugh.
Another pass where the QB gets hit when releasing...another completion. Tulane QB did this too. 2-2 on the completions so far on that. This one ruined the momentum and timing of the play at least...and this receiver was set, but the Tulane throw was either going to miss by 20 feet or it was going to be a completion anyone, and hitting the QB didn't stop that...he hit someone in stride anyway. Things like that are what lead to people thinking some things are pre-determined.
Virginia's 3rd down play...the LT has someone running right at him, but he turns around and faces the QB anyway...then turns around and blocks him after 1 second of looking at the QB...either he knows someone's coming and he turns around anyway...verrrry bad, or he had no idea...very bad, and has eyes in the back of his head...really bad.

21 seconds in, there are two unblocked defenders and a 3rd defender coming off a block directly into the path of the runner and he's basically untouched through 3 guys who all should have taken him down. i hope hawaii isnt that bad of a team.
i havent really watched all the other videos but i liked how fast the defensive line closed on the qb on the hb screen. i liked the batted down pass, but does the dline and everyone else still only jump with their right hand raised or will raise their right hand to bat down a pass that easily would have been batted down with their left

I've seen that play once before, run by Spurrier. It's not a glitch, it's a real play, the but the RT who lines up out wide...should stay out there to block for the receiver...but before the ball is thrown, he starts running back toward where a huddle would be if there weren't only 3 linemen, then after the ball is thrown, he does a 360 and turns around to block for him. I'd have liked to have seen if the LT did that too. If so, that pocket logic sort of causes a lot of problems on that play's blocking out wide.

its called the emory and henry formation now, spurrier ran it at florida and ran it a few times last year at south carolina. i wasnt really paying attention to what the tackle did on the play, yeah when he saw the qb was getting rushed he ran towards the qb. the tackle obviously has no inside pass protection responsibility on the play. he is either supposed to go downfield and block in front of the receiver if its a screen or stay behind the line of scrimmage if the play calls for a deep throw. that definitely screws the execution of the play up.

The Hoos' uniforms look absolutely fine to me as well, though the in-game lighting has definitely changed. Not for better or worse, per se, but it's different from 09.

Nice to see the cpu pound the rock here. They seem to run the ball better. The reverse looked better even if it went nowhere.
