Madden 2010 News Post

And for the last Madden NFL 10 clip for tonight, here we see McNabb under pressure and almost throwing a pick. Romo to Witten, over the middle.

We'll have more videos over the weekend. Enjoy.

LOL I love how mcnabb got away from the guy trying to sack him. nice move. That was almost INT and almost a juggling catch by the WR aswell. Nice video steveo. Looking forward to more of them.

That McNabb desperation heave was so cool looked exactly like him.
Witten over the middle looked nice his forward progress got stopped instantly on contact not likely.
Patrick Crayton was way to black, he needs to be lighter skin big time.

look how tough the nfc east is. 3 out of the top 10 teams in madden play in that division. But only one can win it all and I choose PHILLY

great vids also

I really like how it looks like the CPU will be able to run on the user on All-Pro and higher. Last year's CPU running game was an unqualified disaster.

Very happy to see this improvement!

this looks great the refs discussing whether or not it was a TD was presentation GOLD

I love how at 1:35 of the vid, the camera comes down for a tight shot of the return man making the fair catch. That's just nasty. I'm really being impressed with these angles.

I'm also amazed at the level of positivity towards these videos. People say presentation didn't matter... now I think they see why it does. It just changes the very dynamic of a product. Judging from what I'm seeing, presentation in Madden has a very bright future.

many improvements this year.....
2 issues about this video....

1- Although I thought Mcnabb looked great avoiding pressure, it looked like he threw the ball flat footed and it was a 45 yard bullet. Looked to me like that should have been a loftier ball.

2- On the Jason Witten catch, did his head turn around on the catch? looked to me like he was looking forward the whole route.....wasnt procedural awareness supposed to make the days of the eyes in the back of the head go bye bye.....

someone set me straight

1. You think so? I thought he stepped up and kind of just hucked it McNabb style. Didn't really seem overly un-McNabb like. If Pennington or someone had done it then I would be a little more concerned.

2. This was something I watched a good amount while playing overall. Basically they won't always follow the ball into their hands, but at some point they will turn to see where the ball is.

One thing I noticed, is on that first run play, the trap with Westbrook, the offensive line started towards their appropriate blocking assignments (and it looked like it was gonna be a thing of beauty), but then they kind of got hung up on each other and blocked whatever, and it got stuffed in the backfield because of that.

I like how its more realistic and he doesn't throw it perfect on the run

Yeah, at points the O-line still makes some weird judgment calls. During one game I played, there was an outside running play where the TE should have gone to the second level and blocked a DB. Basically it looked like the TE had the DB lined up, but at the last second he turned back and blocked a guy behind the play. It was wonky and pointed out to the developers at the very least.
