BCFX News Post

Lately, college football video games have been a one-game dynasty with the dominance of the EA Sports NCAA Football series. In 2007, Nerjyzed Game Studios shined the lights on the world of black college football with their first title called Black College Football: The Experience.

Powered by the Unreal 3.0 engine, the PC-exclusive was met with mixed reviews. The first Black College Football game introduced mini-games featuring marching bands, but closed the season with a losing record thanks to sub-par graphics.

Next month, Nerjyzed kicks off its second season of pigskin with Black College Football: The Xperience (BCFX) for the PC and Xbox 360. Former Super Bowl MVP and Grambling star Doug Williams acts just as Jeff Gordon did in NASCAR 09, walking you through the game on and off the field.

I puhased the PC version recently for my windows vista pc and its brand new and meets system requirements but I cant get it to run for anything. Anybody out there has the PC version or know what I could possibly do to get this to run?

I have no problem with this game, but I doubt I'll get it either...

It's like a lacrosse game or something, I am just not into those leagues, so Morehouse vs. Clark does nothing for me, unlike Aaron and others here.

This is really no different than if a game put out some sort of High School Football game, in my eyes.

Kinda smart IMO, because the BCF is a pretty hardcore fanbase, just not sure it's large enough to sustain a gaming franchise. Then again, what other existing football license would?

There's always some clown bringing up "Racism" when they haven't done their homework. HBCU's have been around for a long time, and will continue to be. If you don't like or want the game don't purchase it and STFU. For those of us that will be, the game can't get here fast enough. My kid attended an HBCU and currently is making a mint on Wall St. For the uneducated EA keeps taking you guys to the cleaners year after year after year. Be it Madden or NCAA. Why do you think they added team builder?

I"m supporting the game financially. EA is like TV perceptions, garbage in, garbage out. Stop living on your knees.....

Wow, as someone who got an infraction for race talk (which wasn't even outright, it was implied) I'm pretty disillusioned by this. It's on front street and people are implying more than I ever did in my post...gotta say that's pretty sucky to see a general warning.

I am excited to see a HBCU game though, since they should have already been in NCAA..seeing as they're D1 schools IIRC.

the game looks lame, and yes i really enjoy black college football. go to the bayou classic and 3 or 4 grambling games every season, they should have included these schools in NCAA Football, they're in College Hoops 2k8. Whats the deal EA?
