2K Sports sent us these images taken from the NBA 2K10 commercial spot, which will be shown tonight, in an exclusive 30-second TV spot during the pre-game show for Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

You guys forget the PS3 version was pimped last year as well and we all know how that turned out.
So... no sneak peek at the graphics like last year? Bummer 
(on the other hand the teaser from last year had a sneak peek, which didn't really wow anybody so maybe it's for the better)

No way though that is the cover even if it wins by votes.
I think I like the one of Kobe in the air and the one of Kobe pulling his (Lakers) jersey.
Actually, Altimus, it was reported over at ESPN.com that if you vote for NYKobe you'll receive a message that says "Keep dreaming, Spike"! So I don't think there's any chance of it being voted in as the cover

Hopefully Kobe takes an active role in the development of the game as well. I'm praying he will bring an analytical approach to the staff as far as breaking down the way the NBA is interpreted in video game format.

The jersey-pull one is a mess. I can't even tell who that is just by looking at his face. Also, it seems a little blurry, not to mention arbitrary.

...but why do all of them have that at the bottom?
I can see people saying it already:
"Oh, that's Kobe 24 Bryant. I was wondering what he looked like."
(By the way, I was right on my 3rd guess. I suspected Bryant because Madden NFL 10 and NBA 2K9 picked athletes that were, or may be, champions in the previous seasons.)
