Maybe I missed something but is the Extra Point a true "highlight show" or just a fancy way to look at all the info in franchise?

I think it looks great, but it looks like there is no video. There has to be video highlights!

It is "tweaks"... plus a highlight show. That's what I've been saying. It looks a lot nicer, that's certainly true, but it's, in essence, the same thing with better stuff under the hood.

If this is what you want, great, I'm glad you're happy with it. I'm looking forward to very big things in Madden 11 though.

After thinking about it more, I realize scouting may just be the same scouting thing as last year but now moved into team management. Instead of hidden away in the obscure place it was last year. Hopefully there is more to come on franchise mode. The facelift and the Extra Point by themselves are pretty cool, but I'm hoping for a few things like expanded rosters for preseason, practice squads, hopefully highlights in the Extra Point Show, which it remains to be seen if there are any. Trading future draft picks.

Agreed.

No video highlights = VERY disappointing if so. He basically went over things that have been in franchise mode for years... just a new background design. I see nothing new aside from the live video.

This BETTER have highlights especially for the game you play...I hated how 2k5 NEVER showed your own game unless you simmed it.
