Madden NFL 10 Preview: Online Franchise Revealed (IGN)

IGN has posted their preview of Madden NFL 10, talking about some more online franchise details.

	"When you start up your league, one person is designated as the commissioner. It's his job to approve trades and to decide whether to kick things off with a live fantasy draft or go with traditional rosters. Trades can be done in several different ways. You can go for a 3-for-3 trade, a 2-for-3 trade, you can include draft picks or future draft picks in the deal. The only catch is that every move needs to be given the go-ahead by the commish. Here's hoping that there's a voting mechanic to overthrow unruly commissioners who unfairly favor one team over another. Cooler still is the ability to change things within your franchise from a PC or iPhone while on the go. EA Sports is planning to offer an online franchise hub of sorts, along with an iPhone application, that will let you do things like set your depth chart, propose trades and possibly simulate games on your schedule (though that's still up in the air) with the consent of the other player. The interface for all of these interactions is run through EA Sports World and looked sleek and fairly easy-to-use from my quick demo. The demoer quickly shuffled his quarterbacks and the Xbox sitting next to the PC instantly updated with the new information."

I really ain't complete sure. But thats what they did online with 2k5

In NCAA if you had 1 guy who hadn't played or missed his time/went MIA/whatever then he would be put on "autopilot".

At this point if the owner plays a cpu team it's a simulated game (cpu vs. cpu) and whatever happens happens. If its an owner and he plays an owner then the owner that has been waiting or ready to play the guy who just went MIA plays his game against the cpu. Its very simple trust me.

Like I said I thought this would be a mess in NCAA and IMHO it was great.

-Offline franchise enhancements
-More gameplay
-Obviously, an expansion on the tidbits of presentation we've gotten so far

Yeah for real man, I want to see the full version of some of those cutscenes, like the game intros and whatnot. The fans getting hotdogs, tailgating, and of course the extra point show.

Well this is still some stuff yet be talked about. I also herd from one fo the commmunity say people. There will be a few littles surprises left alone and not talked about all so that the fans can find out for themselves. Thats all I know that told to me. Nothong was reveiled.

I really need a Revamped Challenge System, With these amazing new details, I would hurt even more to lose on a play that you should win...
