So is there in-game saves this year offline?

That alone I would consider a BIG improvement.

The questions weren't exactly what you would call thought provoking or compelling....

Sorry guys. I tried to use some questions from the message boards I found on Tiger Woods. I will use tougher questions next time I guess although I am not sure how hard you can get on a video game developer. I'll keep it in mind though, thanks.

Next time I will attempt to field more questions from everyone on the boards before hand.

If you would like, I can submit some follow up questions for him as I am still waiting for some other information from him on the achievements list.

You can hit him with all the questions I provided for Chase in his thread, but it might steal some of his thunder for E3 questions. They're probably not the sort of questions that a producer wants to answer during a trade show though.

I would put at the top of the list the following question. I've seen this one asked more, by far, over the last two years than any other Tiger Woods related question:

Why is co-op play (IOW, more than one player playing in offline season tournament mode) not offered?

Here's the kicker... EA Sports does offer co-op play in season mode in the XBox version of Tiger Woods 2007, but the second player can only play as a guest. IOW, his scores aren't tallied nor saved in the tournament. He's just playing as a "marker", but I guess it's better than nothing.

It never ceases to amaze me how often this question is asked and in such a variety of forums, yet not only does EA Sports not respond to it with a game option, they seem to intentionally avoid even answering the question!? I don't know why this would be such a hard question to answer if they have a legitimate reason for not offering it. I wish I could relate to the question on a need basis, but no one else in my household has the least bit of interest in this game. None of kids have ever cared about golf, real or video game wise... all they want to know is when am I going to get off so they can play Rock Band or Halo 3.

The golf course feels good. My swing feels good. I like my chances.
- TW

His answers are so abrupt and short...mix in some personality EA.

I like the Career mode being able to practice and tune your clubs like in the actual PGA tour. I think it will be a fun game and I love the new weather channel stuff.

I'm seconding this as the wife actually will play this game but I'd like for there to be some continuity in rounds...i.e. a 2-4 player career instead of Play Now every time we fire it up.

My wife and I played TW a lot back in the day but the series has become stale. IMO there is not enough new content to justify spending $60.

If Chase is going to be at E3, he can ask that question for you. We will see if it is worth 60$ for the new installment.

If you have any other questions or comments about the game, let me know since I am reviewing the game.

Right now the standard seems to be held at EA as to what will prompt a customer to buy the new version if they already have the old one.

It's a good question and it should be reviewed in depth. Personally, I haven't bought the game since 08 for those reasons- they all seem the same.
