Newest Member of EA SPORTS Broadcast Team
Speculates on Cover Athletes

April 15, 2009 – Sports broadcaster Erin Andrews will be featured as a sideline reporter in EA SPORTS NCAA Football 10 for Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3. In addition to delivering in-game news straight from the gridiron, Andrews will also be featured in a major NCAA Football 10 mode that will be revealed at a later date.

Andrews is the newest addition to the NCAA Football 10 broadcast team, joining Kirk Herbstreit, Brad Nessler and Lee Corso in a game that envelopes the excitement and pageantry of college football at its best. Including Andrews as part of the NCAA Football 10 broadcast team complements the franchise commitment to offer the most authentic college football experience available on any gaming platform. Andrews has served as a sideline reporter for ESPN’s College Football Saturdays since 2004.

In a new video released today, Andrews weighs in on a hot topic leading into the NFL Draft: which prospects will be NCAA Football 10 cover athletes? A different player will be featured on the packaging of each of the four platforms, giving Andrews and football fans plenty of opportunity to speculate which athletes will grace the covers this season. I will either get it early and post reviews for you guys to read and if you choose to heed my opinion either purchase or hold off...or I will hold off until Madden comes out and buy a used copy. I want everyone to know the real deal before they drop $60 on this game and if EA does what I think they will, give us the same ol' stuff, then hopefully I can at least save some folks from giving EA more of their hard earned cash.

At this point if I get the game early it's more about being able to save you guys purchases if it's the same old crap, as opposed to the reason I used to get it early, because I am just so excited I can't wait another minute.

Taking 1 for the team.

Then you keep playing the broken '09 version so you remember, "It's just a game, it doesn't feel like the real thing" and I'll play this years version b/c they're working towards more realism on the gridiron. Why would you downplay any new in-game feature before even seeing it play out? I can't believe you're seriously arguing against having Erin Andrews in the game.

Being able to watch a game is a useful feature in my opinion, and it has nothing to do with this presentation/ESPN-integration stuff we are talking about.
Why should they not use the ESPN license to its fullest? How would you suggest they make better use of that investment? To be honest if you didn't look hard enough the last couple years you wouldn't have known they even had it.

Im not thrilled with a lot of stuff they have added or failed to add ,but I think they have earned another year. They have already added a bunch of stuff I felt was a must have. And no disrespect to ODogg but Im not sure just cause he dislike it I wont? I dont read reviews I could care less what other people feel. They have my juices flowing and I will be there at midnite to buy it so I can form my on opinion.

You're so wrong. I eagerly anticipate the game play improvements and dynasty mode features. Apparently you can't understand the difference.

WTF are you talking about? I'm not arguing against having Erin Andrews in the game. I'm arguing against EA spending lots of development time to have big pre-game, post-game, and halftime shows, when they have so much to work on for actual gameplay. The bugs they had in gameplay and dynasty mode last season were pretty bad and they are only going to have more of those kinds of bugs if they add more fluff features. I do like the fact that Erin is in during the game like she is for real games. It's not a ton of work for them, and it adds to the most important part of the game, which is actually playing games.

Erin Andrews is a goddess

I normally look at other people's views, especially if I know they don't mind being critical. However, I just have to get under the hood for a while and see how it feels. I usually see how it plays within the style of play I like and how it either limits or exploits that. I find issues then I usually spend some time seeing what others here think.

Erin is great, but what I want to say is about the jersey sleeves. Look at Matt Stafford's sleeves. They are rediculously bulky, no player looks that stupid.

PLEASE, EA Sports take them away, make them smaller, or give us the option to update mass quantities of players at once. No offense, but they almost ruin the game. Again NO BULKY SLEEVES!, thanks

Once again with all due respect to ODogg! Im not sure he has my same exact taste. I like wide open gameplay I notice the difference and feel its a better representation of college football then years past.(and IMO its one of the few features that should seperate Madden and NCAA) The problem IMO wasnt wide open gameplay it was dumbdown AI ,placebo ratings ,and bad football mechanics that ruined 09!

To each their own, and I don't have the same interest as he does, as a fan of NCAA Football, I will buy this one just as I have every year. No ones opinion, review or whatever is going to change that. And from the strides I've seen EA sports take over the last year or so, has shown me they are doing what it takes to satisfy the masses and create a solid game, if it's better than 09 that is said enough!

Either way I'll have it on day 1, let him convince you! But I believe in self choice and I have my own mind to decide what I want to do with my money. And I'll buy it, as a matter of fact I might go reserve in full today.

It seems to me that Odogg has already made up his mind that the game is going to suck. No offense Odogg, but looking at your posts it would be hard to refute that. I won't be waiting on anyone's review for this game. It will be a day 1 purchase like every other NCAA.

People, its APRIL. Not hating on the haters, but can't we wait until at least June to decide whether or not we like the game and are going to buy it? This whole instant gratification thing is really getting old...

This. I will be giddy as hell as soon as I turn the page on the calendar and it says "JULY".

If I have heard enough of my problem areas are being addressed why would I have to wait til June to decide that im going to purchase it? The demo is the only thing and even that is suspect.
