The grunts are authentic and I love all of their mannerisms.. still not too sure about the footing.. I wonder what determines a good shot from a bad shot. I wonder if it is solely timing? hm..

I think it's your actual swing/technique that determines the shot. With MotionPlus you get 1 to 1 mapping, so if you try to do a forehand when the ball's coming to your backhand you'll miss. Everything I've read has talked up the controls as being pretty realistic.

You can either use the nunchuk to move or just play with the wiimote and have it auto run. I think the focus on this game is getting the wiimote to be like swinging a racquet, since they can't map your footwork or anything...

it's cool they added the nunchuck support for movement, but I probably won't use it. I think that would hinder your swings.

Shawn at 5WGaming.com said that he didn't think the nunchuk was required, the AI running was "surprisingly effective".

I think I'd prefer using only the Wiimote so I can get a realistic swing motion, follow-through, etc. The Nunchuck would get in the way like you say, but we'll see. Either way I'm hyped for this and TW for Wii!

That's what I'd like to know. They aren't out yet, but hopefully they will be in time for this game. Maybe Gamestop or amazon will let you preorder them or something.

Yeah, Nintendo hasn't announced a release date for Motion Plus and Wii Sports Resort (or whatever it's called). Hopefully soon.

Speak of the devil.

Nintendo announces date of Motion Plus releases

June 8 you can buy the add-on for $20 alone, or with Wii Sports Resort for $49.99 on July 26

I'll probably pick one up on June 8th (for the 16th when GST and Tiger drop), and MAYBE I'll get Wii Sports Resort (only when I need another Motion Plus, right now I play mostly single player).
