Operation Sports NFL Mock Draft: Picks 1 - 10

With the NFL Draft only a few short weeks away, I could not think of a better way to generate some discussion than putting together an Operation Sports Mock Draft. The draft not only discusses individual team needs, but also discusses what exactly each of these picks will mean when you pick up your copy of Madden 10 in August.

This week I will cover the top 10 picks, with picks 11-21 hitting next week, and picks 22-32 coming the week of April 20.

The Seahawks can't handle a QB, WR, or RB on the 4th pick overall. Defensive player usually get paid less and they have a need to contain Boldin and Fitz in there own division. I am not going to act like I know the other teams that well but I do know the Seahawks.

I think this is who the Seahawks will take.....

Malcolm Jenkins CB Ohio State - True Lockdown CB

Aaron Curry OLB Wake Forest - Best player in draft but the Seahawks can not spend all that money at 1 position. They already have Lofa with a new contract and Leroy Hill was Franchised.

B.J. Raji DT Boston College - Seahawks have seen too many 1st rd bust on the D-Line so I think they will be gun shy.

Seahawks will pick Malcolm Jenkins!

The Chiefs just signed Zack Thomas so it's looking like we may go after a DE or make a trade with the 3rd pick instead of going with Curry.

Zach Thomas is not the long term fix. They could still draft Curry and have Thomas show him the way.

i am sorry.... this is terrible the even the madden perspective was weak. Good idea tho

like think about it for a second before picking some random *** clown, go on each teams respective home forum and read some sh*t... then write about how each player impacts the team and how it will play there respective madden team this year vs last.

just a random team: Bengals... taking Carbs when they have Ocho and just signed Coles is kinda dumb for a team who is trying to rebuild and has lost of holes. Also it will make a small impact on their madden perspective as they just lost a very similar WR, so its kinda like Housh never left lol

BTW I am a raiders fan so i will comment on the raiders pick...DE Pass Rusher, why!??!!?!? we have a terrible run defense and you want to boost our pass rushers! we were run on like crazy just take one quick look at some stats and you will see this! our DE's are fine especialy with our gem pick last year Scott... teams would just run the ball on us all game.

Its going to be Raji, Crabs, Curry (i wish lmao) or they trade down.

Maybe it's just me but I can see the Bengals taking Crabtree.

Ocho is looking like he's lost a few steps and is begging to get out of there. They could take Crabtree and keep/trade Ocho, either way.
