Madden 2010 News Post

ESPN sat down with Reggie Bush as he discusses Madden NFL 10, among many other things.

Quote:
ESPN: "EA Sports is working on Madden NFL 10 right now. Any feature you'd like to see added to the game?"

Reggie: "Man, I really don't have any genius advice for them. They just need to keep doing what they're doing. If I could come up with that stuff, I'd probably work on having my own game. [laughs] They really need to keep working on making things as realistic as possible."

Remember back in the 90's when sport stars had their own games, I can just imagine a 'Reggie Bush All Star Football', lol

When NFL players like Reggie Bust... errrr... I mean Bush make comments like that, I often wonder if they're getting a different copy of the game than the rest of us, lol.

They probably play against their teammates and other NFL players and more than likely, the winner has bragging rights.

Like a pro-nfl player psycho-analyses madden to find faults.

They play it for fun and bragging rights. Ocassionally.

They are the definition of the casual gamer.

i know he played it. last night right before falling alsleep i was watching some cometition between sportstars and the game stars( Kids who get paid to play). I saw Reggie Bush play some tourny winner or somethin and he lost to the lions. Funny thing was the guy went for 2 both times he scored which i had to laugh at (guess thats the way tounament players play No sim). It was also really funny to hear Bush say "its not even realistic" or something to that effect. I wish i was better at quoting but he definatly wasnt finding the game to be to realistic. It was also an EA sponsored event with tiger playing his game, NBA live and a Bball player i didnt know and 2 other sports games where a gamer and superstar would play. Considering it was an ea event it was funny to hear bush getting mad at the game.

Basicly, after seeing his reaction during the game, i dont think he really stands by the quote. Seems like one of those things you say to be nice.

What good would come from a negitive comment about madden? (nothing but bad press)
What good could come from a positive comment about madden?

At least he said it needs to be more realistic...which is by far the most important goal

^^^ Reggie Hayward was once quoted as trashing Madden, He was saying something along the lines of it not being like real football, and some other disparaging remarks. I wonder if his ratings took a hit after that, lol.

Then there was the time when Vince Young publicly clowned on the Madden art team because he didn't like the way he looked in the game.

I'm pretty sure there are more NFL players that are critical of the game, it just doesn't get published much.

Im sure your right. i guess my point was i doubt there will be any good to come from bashing. The negitive wont be much either cuz its just a game. But sometimes those crazy people pick the weirdest things and people to boycott for some of the oddest reasons. i was just throwning in my .02.

Was this the topic of discussion? Because they didn't talk about much. Really didn't talk about anything at all. What a misleading title.

Lol.

Next time they should ask a real running back like Mike Bush.

# 15 TheWatcher @ 02/19/09 08:04 PM
^^^ I think they'll wait until Mike becomes a featured starter...

lol..reggie bush.. MVP..He's still the man tho. Jst gotta "UP" his game and they need a better o-line. Yeah..We on the same boat with the Sony PS3

I used to think reggie was a bust and, he still kinda is in my opinon at running back but, when that boy gets in open space on a kick or punt "oh lord"!!! I was watching the game where they kicked it to him like 2 times in a row and he took it back both times. Then they kick it to him a 3rd time and he would have took that one back if he hadn't of tripped off his own feet.
